An excellent Hotel . Whoever the Chef is, he or she needs to be complemented as the food is excellent. We have stayed there many times and the recently refurbished rooms are beautiful. Professional and friendly staff and excellent service. We have stayed in many different Hotels in Europe and on many occasions we have remarked 'not as good as the Lavendel'. Not one negative thing to say. It's a real gem.
