On arrival staff friendly and helpful and then not to be found. Room is in need of refreshing, mattress is long past best by date. Room not as clean as it should be and shower in particular was filthy. (Purchased product to clean it ourselves in order to use) Experienced load shedding and some kind of backup power should be in place.

Mold around the bathtub, cockroaches, spiders and moths in room, main TV did not work, missing light bulbs/various different light bulbs, asked them to change and also install where missing. Pool was dirty, debris in pool and a chair, mattress was very hard and uncomfortable, the safe did not work, offered us a free breakfast due to the cockroach issue. Staff was the only good thing. Definitely needs refurbishing.

This is a basic local guest house. No backup generator which is key in South Africa these days (rolling blackouts). Only one choice for breakfast. Small room.
