Disappointing experience overall. The customer service was not what I would expect from a hospitality establishment—the team was not helpful in resolving a straightforward issue. The experience left us feeling unsupported and frustrated. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to others in my circle.

We read the reviews but still proceeded to book. We were warmly welcomed and check in was super easy. Pool and view is amazing!! It is extremely safe and my girlfriend and myself spent the day relaxing next to the pool.

My wife and me have hotel in Italy. We check in to Hout Bay View on the not planned trip to Cape Town. The property beautiful and view like Africa Amalfi coast. My wife enjoy the owner focus on all the details that are even small. The staff are so friendly. We felt like family. We will always be stay at Hout Bay View when we visit Cape Town soon again. They have special property and beautiful rooms with friendly owner who help always but we feel like we the only couple who stay here it so peaceful.

Unfortunate experience despite stunning view, good location and lovely Luvy. Manager forgot to give me access code, refuses to admit mistake (even though I am aware that video recording confirms manager’s omission)a Found myself locked out in the middle of the night with no assistance and final response claiming that I had had too much wine !! Total bad faith from dishonest hotel management.

The view from our room was superb. The room looked nice, but had quite a few flaws. The (smallish) breakfast had to be eaten in your room (which has no table) so you need to eat on the balcony. The hotel is clearly not managed professionaly.
