Charmaine and the Team were Superb as ever making this peaceful and stunningly beautiful vineyard a real home from home. Authentic South African charm from a bygone era make this a must for anyone wanting to experience the best South Africa has to offer. Modern Boutique hotels are the same the world over but it takes generations to get this authenticity so don’t miss out. You won’t find Le Manoir on the Wine Tram so sure you don’t miss out on a wine tasting of their superb Award Winning wines either which, in our opinion, are simply outstanding and amongst the best wines from anywhere in the World. A True Hidden Gem to stay at with a superb selection of outstanding wines you won’t find elsewhere

We stayed at the property for 4 nights, as we were attending a wedding in the area. The pictures did not do it justice - the setting was beautiful with mountains and gardens to the rear as a delightful setting for breakfast each day. We were greeted by Charmaine and her staff, who were friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible throughout.

What a pleasure it was to stay at Le Manoir de Brendel. This beautiful old house surrounded by lush vineyards and breathtaking mountainous scenery was the perfect stop after a few days in Cape Town. The faculties were fabulous as was Charmaine's attention to everyone's needs. Breakfast on the porch was a wonderful way to start our day. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer to really enjoy the wines of the region.

A very special place. I stayed here first in 2016 and was delighted to return in 2024. It was just as perfect as I remembered. So much character, no pretentiousness, a beautiful setting (with grounds to walk in), so tranquil and peaceful, a stunning and spacious room made with such pristine care, and easy to get from here anywhere via uber or the recommended taxi driver. Charmaine and her team were just wonderful
