Last stayed here in 2015 so quite a gap in time between then and our next stay, which was 3 nights in February. This motel is pet friendly which is why we chose it. There is a one off extra cleaning fee of $30 added to your stay, i.e. not a daily charge and this is fine. Always thought booking direct at any accommodation gave you the best price but on subsequent checking, this is not the case. We paid $225.00 per night, $675 for three nights. Looking at booking 3 nights there via a popular booking site gave me a price of $446 so it would seem direct bookers are subsidizing the discounts providers give to booking chains. Very disappointing especially as for $225.00 per night, I would expect a fully equipped kitchen, not a small space with a plug in hot plate.

酒店回复: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It is always best to book direct, however if you see a price listed on a third party site and its cheaper, we will always honor the price. Through our peak summer seasons there are no discounts through third party sites and it is always cheaper to book direct. The room you possibly referred to would be our Standard Studio Motel which does not have a kitchenette or Kitchen and is much smaller than a Kitchen Studio Motel. Our Motels with Kitchens are fully equipped to make a meal with pots / pans on a hot plate. The reason the hot plate is plug in and removeable from the benchtop is to allow for more space :)

Excellent stay in a great location - friendly hosts, very comfy bed and wonderfully clean. Car park right out front of my room as well which was really handy. My only suggestion is for the rooms to have sheer/privacy curtains, as there is a big sliding doors and windows that are only slightly tinted, so people can see into your room if they are walking past, so your only option is to close the curtains for privacy and block the sunlight. All in all, a great, no fuss, easy stay. Ask for a room away from the road or bring earplugs.

You will be delighted to know we are in the process of putting sheer nets in all our rooms for privacy.

Practical for a stay, clean and has everything you'd need. Found the owner trying to get in our room while we were still there and then returned from an outting to find her in there again seemingly annoyed about having to vaccuum (we had young children which I had informed her before we showed up). We left a day earlier than planned and paid for because we just did not feel comfortable or private. Would not recommend for more than a day stay.

Value for Money motel. A hood option for family with all basic amenities. Located at Tahananui, which is easily accessible to all tourist attractions. Close to Nelson car museum. Night and day and Taj Indian restaurants are walkable distance.
