Clean, Comfortable and Affordable accomodation. We stayed for a week as a family group. Units are serviced daily. Ours had a small kitchenette which was sufficient for light cooking. 80s style playground and a swimming pool helped to entertain kids. Convenient location - walk to beach or easy to drive to Nelson City or to Richmond and beyond. Close drive to supermarkets. New owners took over in March and are renovating/upgrading the units. They were wonderful to deal with and were able to do A booking date change for us which we greatly appreciated. We would stay there again.

Great location, close to the beach, airport and not far from town. Room was very clean and had a nice feel to it, easy to cook in the studio kitchen with full kitchen utensils. Will be staying again and would recommend to others.

Comfortable, practical and relaxed
Comfortable and practical motel in Nelson. We were upgraded to a two bedroom unit with a kitchenette suitably equipped for cooking basic meals (hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, crockery and cutlery, utensils, etc).
Spacious unit - with easy chairs as well as a table and dining chairs.
Everything was clean.
Parking right outside.
Very nice and friendly young couple running the place.
We used the laundry facilities and drying lines and could have had a dip in the pool.
It's fairly close to the airport but flights seemed to stop mid-evening and not start too early each morning - didn't disturb us.
Also a short walk to the beach.
The motel units are not ultra modern but everything was clean, well maintained and worked well.
Plenty of SKY sports options on the TV if that's of interest.
We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The Manager, Cobber, is very friendly and welcoming. Place is neat and kept clean. Would stay here again when we visit Nelson.

The owner and staff are terrific. We had a two bedroom unit and it was more than expected comfortable. The host, Cobber, went out of his way to cover our first-timer plug adapter needs and the staff, including (pronounced) Timmy were great at explaining public transit and fielding what must have seemed like a lot of questions. We are heading back again at the end of our NZ visit!
