It has been a week since I was at the Errigal Country House and I am still waiting on the hotel to contact me. Let me start off by saying the Errigal hotel is a lovely place, a lot of hard work has been done to make it an elegant luxury establishment, but this hard work is being let down by the customer service, especially the customer service I received. I stayed and paid for a Deluxe Double room (which was well decorated and comfortable) but when I got into the room it was cold so I decided to turn up the radiator, the radiator came off the wall, I replaced it back on it’s holding, it was unexpected. I then went to iron my clothes with the iron provided as soon as I plugged it in I got an electric shock up my arm, I investigated the cable and it was damaged and warped, not a good start to our stay. I went to the reception but before I did my wife called me into the bathroom she was about to take a shower but it was more like a bath because the water wasn’t going anywhere. I reported this to the receptionist and showed the lady the photos I had taken, she did apologise, but I wanted to speak to the manager about the issues, a manager was unavailable, I thought the manager would get in touch, inspect the issues but there was nothing. I came back to reception on my way to dinner, there was a different receptionist, again no manager was available, wouldn’t be available till the next morning and still the issues in the room were not inspected or resolved. On check out the next morning I reported the issues to another receptionist and asked if the manager was available, but this time I was told it was the manager’s day off. How difficult is it to contact a customer, and I would have preferred not to write this review. I have added photos of a couple of the issues but this site wouldn’t let upload the videos of the bath/shower

Have been there three times first time we went was lovely second time place had not be cleaned fruit had been left side of hot tub and hot tub was dirty we explained at the reception women was so polite and understanding manager was kind enough to give us a hour free but when we returned hot tub was cold and so was sauna man came in cleaning while session was in use this problem could be fixed easily if we were told at reception we had to wait few moment till they cleaned we left after 20 mins as we were disgusted women in reception very rude and couldn’t understand on why we were not happy with this service defiantly won’t be returning

However, the experience you described does not align with our standards or procedures. Our spa is fully cleaned and checked between every session, and guests should never enter while cleaning is still taking place. This will be investigated. We were happy to offer a complimentary hour previously, but it is unfortunate you did not alert the team immediately when you noticed the temperatures had not yet reached their set levels, as this could have been resolved on the spot. Had the most relaxing night away for our anniversary rooms were beautiful and food top notch beautiful location and the 2 hr spa garden was much needed bliss will definitely return here....the newly refurbished R&R restaurant was modern and classy views from brekkie table wer lovely and staff v friendly and helpful .

From.start to finish it was purely so relaxing. My friend and I went for the Rory package deal aka vip stay deal. It was fabulous. The R&R is gorgeous, we booked spa in the hotel separately and it was so relaxing along with refreshments. The food in the bar that night was lovely. Our room had a huge balcony and the sun was beaming on it in the mornings, a lovely way to wake up. Defo recommend oh and the selection at breakfast was brilliant too. Well done staff!!

Hotel of horrors due to staff. Unbelievably bad from start to finish I could write a book about it ! But do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs

The hotel was outstanding from food, garden spa, staff and rooms. A hotel were you can truly relax and unwind and treat yourself to a great massage and great food and drinks. Cocktails were outstanding and staff so friendly and attentive especially Gary. Great service and good old fashioned Irish banter and Peter too. We feel refreshed and rested, we will be back.

Lovely location. The hotel and decor were beautiful. Not one member of the staff was anything but so nice helpful so I would definitely be recommending this hotel. The bonus was it was great value.

Had an amazing stay at Errigal hotel , staff were amazing and super helpful with any issues we alerted them to. Rooms are lovely super modern and spacious. The food was wonderful !! Compliments to the chefs !! We are super picky eaters restaurants nowadays are never up to scratch , but this place is the best we have eating in long time. Bao bun & curry were amazing ! Will defiantly return to the this hotel and hopefully the outdoor spa area will be open for use by then.

Had Prawn Won Ton for starter. This was very poor. Could not find any prawn in them. Had Cheesse Burger. Again just average. Burger was 2 thin burgers together. The Chicken Curry had no flavour. All in all just ok.
