Holiday | Family We stayed here on the 11th of November with my relatives booked 5 bedrooms but end up getting 4 bedrooms due to their mistake and made a double booking with another guest but they still charge us for 5 rooms This is the worst place we have ever stayed rooms & bathrooms got a bad odour bed sheets & pillow cases seems never been washed so filthy & dirty No hot water to shower charge us for air condition rooms but air condition wasn't working cockroaches every where in the rooms please think twice before booking at this nightmare place.......

I recently booked 5 rooms at Chalton Rest Kandy for my group, but when we arrived, we were told that one of the rooms – a triple room – was "not available." They didn’t even bother to inform me about this in advance. So, the manager discided to give us a 5-bed room at the same price as the triple room, which still wasn’t what I originally booked. (I booked 2 double rooms and 3 Triple rooms) In the end, we only got 4 rooms total, despite having advance paid for 5. But the manager put a bill to all 5 rooms.. To make matters worse, the room facilities were terrible. The rooms had a horrible smell, like sewage or something damp and unpleasant, making it impossible to feel comfortable. The owner, Saman, didn’t seem to care at all when I brought up the issues. Instead, he told me it was "not his responsibility" because he wasn't there when we checked in and suggested I speak to his manager – even though it was his hotel and I was dealing with him directly. Owner said that he cannot get the responcibility for whatever his manager did. ? what kind of a owner is that ??? i dont get it.. The lack of communication, the unpleasant rooms, and the complete lack of accountability from both the owner and the staff were incredibly frustrating. I would never stay at Chalton Rest Kandy again and would highly recommend you avoid this place if you’re looking for a hassle-free, comfortable stay. There are far better options in Kandy that actually value their guests and provide the service they promise.

Great location in kandy city tour options available so we explore whole kandy friendly owner preprared our all travel arrangements we watch kandyan cultural dance pretty much best option in central kandy we are strongly reccomend charlton kandy rest for the best affordable tours option i think they are the best in srilanka we went to sigiriya from kandy we get a nice ride by the hotel on time thank u charlton kandy rest for all the care you gave us have a great year to you see you soon !!!!
