I had an excellent 2 night stay with my family. The hotel will offer you a good quality and spacious room, food quality is good , you don't need to wait long for food. Most importantly hotel staff are very supportive and helpful. The hotel also helped me with customised food for my child.

The mattresses were warmed by heating coil at your control. This unique features seen first in my life. Very clean and pocket friendly indian and inter cuisine. Liked by budget and upscale tourists, location is spot on. Service men A class.

Hotel is 5 mins walking distance to Mall Road.
Cons:
Average breakfast with 3-4 options only
You can literally hear people talking across room walls, we couldn't sleep at night due to so much noise.
No parking, I had to park my rented 2 wheeler at a paid parking.

Great location, walkable to the Toy Train. Many restaurants close by. The hotel was able to organise taxis and sightseeing trips. The staff were very helpful. The restaurant was very busy at breakfast but there was no shortage of food. Would stay again.

Hotel location is great from Darjiling point of view.
It had all the facilities that were exhibited on the platform.
Clean and neat, polite and co iperative staff.
Food for vegeterian is ok.
So if you are a vegeterian , go and explore near by restaurants.

I went with my family to Darjeeling and stayed at Hotel Sonar Bangla for a night. This is my second time in HSB,Darjeeling and I am amazed to see that the property has changed so much and definitely for the good. This time we stayed in the Six Bedded Suite and everything about that room was fantastic. The staff was extremely cordial and helpful which I remember from last time as well. The price is extremely reasonable and the food is also good. Most important the property is located at a stonethrow distance from Keventers. Would definitely recommend this property to everyone I know.
