We spent one night in havery bay at Urangan Motor Inn . The motor inn is very central on the esplanade close to a pub with good meals and very close to Urangan pier Our room was clean and our car was undercover and bed as very comfortable we will definitely stay again

If you like clean, comfortable accommodation then avoid here. Rooms are not serviced daily, so no clean towels, no tea, coffee ect unless you go to the office for more. Bed isn’t made up. The exhaust van did not work in bathroom & it had no window. Shower & toilet had mould. Skirting boards & fans full of dust. It is ran down & appears little maintenance is done. We had to clean the fridge before we could used it. The towel was dirty on arrival so I had to go to the office and get another one. They need new cleaners because the hygiene of the room was poor to say the least. Way below Australian standards.

We loved everything about this great little motel. Although older style, the room was clean, spacious and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the pillows surprisingly good and the shower was hot and fabulous. It wasn't fancy, but had everything we needed that some newer, more expensive properties, seem to lack these days, like well positioned power points, table & chairs and easy access undercover parking at the door. The location of this property is 5 star and overall, it was excellent value for an overnight stay. We would definitely come back. The only things that could be improved: a bedside lamp would have been great and although the staff were polite, they could be a bit more friendly.

We arrived and hour before checking and our room was ready and the reception staff happy for us to check in. This is a pretty basic stay and I would only recommend it if you're not fussy about the comforts of home. I'm lucky my hubby pulled the blanket out of the cupboard before the office closed. It smelled of stale body odour, obviously from a previous guest/s. I walked through the carpark for a fresh replacement. When we arrived there was a strong chlorine smell. A strong overhead fan and an open door helped it dissipate. It was obviously germ free.. Parking was off street in front of the average size unsuited room. Tea/coffee sachets were supplied with a jug to boil water. Noise level was high from arriving and departing cars; neighbouring room's flushing toilets; boiling kettles and footsteps above our heads. There were no bed lamps or bed head but adequate toiletries were available from mounted dispensers. The unsuited was a decent size with ample room to move. The floor was covered with a dull carpet as tired as the rest of the room. The Office staff person was polite and efficient. The location is their saving grace as it’s close the the Urangan pier, a coffee shop,and ice cream shop. I wasn't impressed enough to take any photos of this accommodation.

Handy spot if road tripping through and just need an overnight stay. Basic but clean and comfortable room! Drive your car right to the door (handy when you have a full car and need easy access! On the doorstep of the Urangan pier with restaurants, a pub and fish n chips nearby. Electric bicycles and scooters to rent on the Beam app 24/7 close by! They were fun! Staff super friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions and directions!

Freezing!!!! No blankets!!! We booked here with a work group, very busy all day work for 4 days. We all froze through the night as there is nothing but a sheet on the bed and a think Kmart blanket in the cupboard. Thankfully I had a single bed in my room so I used the mattress protector from that as a blanket ...only to discover it had a dried patch of blood on it. Yuk. Obviously never been washed. Revolting. Too busy to even think about it thru the day. We travel weekly and blankets is not something we should be concerned about. We had a party in the car park with other patrons staying there all of us shocked at how freezing we were. I'm astounded at what the electricity bill would be here as we all have the heater on full ball all night yo try and be warm. One of us went to buy hot water bottles to stay warm. It was completely disrespectful of the hotel to only give us sheets on the bed, a dirty mattress protector and one thing blanket in the cupboard. Great location and lovely friendly coffee shop out front. Could be a great place if they bought blankets.

We booked in advance but at the last minute so most places were booked out. The room had a couple of beds, a shower/bathroom which was extremely slippery when wet. On day 2 we asked for the carpet to be vacuumed because the dust was extreme ,and the bed heads dusted because the dust was laughable. The house keeper was lovely even though it was extremely busy. As the week went on we took care of ourselves by getting rid of rubbish,asking for towels etc because we read that they don’t service rooms regularly.Fridge is freezing up. Power points scarce and read the small print. We got what we paid for.
