Only here for one night, but excellent facilities. Great location for the esplanade - only 15 minute walk away. Wish we could have stayed there longer. Very clean and quality facilities.

We based ourselves here for a few days with our van while we explored the surrounding areas. It’s nice and central and we enjoyed being minutes to the Esplanade and handy to shops etc. While we were travelling down the coast this was our most expensive stay at $79 per night for a powered site. The sites are small and access is pretty tight. By the time we were in and set up we had about 1.5 metres to a tent next door and about 1 metre to a camper trailer on the other side. The amenities were ok and kept clean throughout our stay and there’s also a nice looking pool for swimming. However in the laundry two of the washing machines were ‘out of order’ with signs on them which was inconvenient for a number of us who were trying to catch up on some washing. The road noise is pretty full on too and runs through the night.

We booked a Superior 2 bedroom cabin for NYE with our family. We tried to call before arrival to see if we could have an earlier check in. No answer we tried about 10 times. We arrived at 1.30pm to check in. Upon arrival we were told that our cabin won't be ready until after 2pm as they are busy and running behind. They said they'd call us when ready. It got to 3.15 and no phone call, we have 3 kids and had just driven 3 hours. We were also so told that the pool facilities weren't working... so you can imagine it's NYE in 30 degree heat, no check in yet and no pool facilities! We were told we could drive 15min away to use another facilities pool.. not ideal when you don't want to drive anymore during your stay! Finally at 3.30pm when we drove back to check in the cleaner was still in the room and told me the cabin was filthy from previous holiday maker and she was still behind. Not ideal. We finally got to check into our cabin (no 16).. well what a let down. It's nothing like the photos, the cabin is old run down, dirty, tiles.chipped cracked, stains on floor and carpet. It was nothing like the photos and to be honest false advertising. I went back and spoke to reception and they couldn't care less, they wanted out for the afternoon and told me the photos are just like that for advertising, totally false! So be warned and I'll attach photos the Superior cabins are just like the standard ones. The bunk beds are very dangerous for young children to get on and off the ladders. Don't waste your money, better value for money elsewhere! The park itself lacks any real holiday atmosphere and staff couldn't care less!
