This was a truly unique treat to find in Tamworth. The host was most welcoming and we were accommodated in The Henderson Room with unique ‘jungle theme’ decor. The whole site was a beautiful garden which we were welcomed to explore. There were many spaces to relax and view the vista. One would need to revisit often to truly appreciate it in different seasons. The building and decor throughout was fabulous and there was so much to visually enjoy as well as all the comforts one would need. We would recommend highly.

Unique themed rooms. We enjoyed the Moroccan suite. Delicious food prepared by our amazing chef Sandy and served by Pete, in an intriguing dining/lounge area, surrounded by varied collection of treasures and memories. Ideally setup for small groups and fully accessible. Wandering the large gardens was relaxing after a delicious breakfast.

I had a lovely, peaceful, and restful night. The hosts were wonderful, and the rooms were delightful. The beds were so comfortable. Staying at this gorgeous retreat was definitely worth it.

Our room was perfect – beautifully and uniquely furnished, well-appointed, ultra-quiet and super comfortable. We arrived after dark, so we also enjoyed the added surprise of waking up to The Retreat at Froog-Moore Park's stunning and peaceful gardens the following day.
Peter and Sandy are exceptional hosts and genuinely lovely people who made us feel totally at home. And Sandy's cooking is sensational!
We have more trips to Tamworth planned and will definitely be back to sample more of Sandy's fantastic cooking, experience The Retreat's other rooms and enjoy the genuinely good service and hospitality The Retreat offers.
