for a start this is a good hotel but disappointing the rooms are far to small i had the regular the bathroom door opens on the inside so moving around the bathroom is difficult. during the winter they give us a heater which is ok. there is a geezer for the hot water but trying to work the balance of the water is again difficult. to get to this hotel is seriously difficult because its not the way google maps says you literally have to go through a small road. the staff were ok the only thing i found good was the food quality that was welcome quality. if you can find a better hotel then take it

Checked in on 12th October 2025 with family (10 members, including seniors and young adults). The property is tucked in a narrow lane—parking our tempo traveller mini bus was manageable. Though not fully wheelchair-accessible, a lift is available inside; only the pool area requires climbing steep heritage-style stairs. We were given a wonderful, informative tour by the staff, exploring areas like the meditation room, temple, courtyard, old jail room, and Meera Bai’s hidden prayer space. The intricate carvings, high ceilings, antique furniture, and historical photos beautifully reflect the heritage charm that’s been carefully preserved. Each room is unique—some with attached bathrooms, some separate—but all well-equipped with air conditioning, refrigerators, and hot water. Staff were extremely courteous, from the traditional welcome with teeka and tulsi mala to helping us switch rooms for our senior parents. Special thanks to Praveen and Akshay for their warm hospitality and for taking our group photos. The food was excellent—Chef Ali Saif ensured a wide range of delicious options. Overall, a memorable stay blending modern comfort with the charm of a bygone era. Highly recommended for those who appreciate history and heritage.

A nice building with tons of historical charm. We enjoyed exploring the building’s many halls and staircases, and the rooftop pool was nice. Breakfast food was a little limited (especially for non-veg people like us), but otherwise lunch and dinner meals were fantastic.

"I stayed at Badi Kothi Prayagraj for a night and was excited to experience the historic charm of this restored kothi. While the staff was cooperative and polite, our experience was marred by a few issues. Despite informing the hotel about our senior family member, we were given a small room on the first floor, which was not ideal. The hotel's maintenance was also lacking, with visible dirt and neglect in various areas. The historic ambiance was there, but it felt like the hotel needs more attention to detail to match its charm. Perhaps with some improvements in room allocation and maintenance, Badi Kothi Prayagraj can live up to its potential." *Specific Points to Mention:* - *Room Allocation -despite informing the hotel about our senior family member, we were given a room that wasn't suitable.
WelcomHeritage Badi Kothi
