It was great to arrive at our destination after driving the strong winds & heavy rain during our drive from Allora to Toowoomba. Thankfully we missed the large hail, vision on the road was restricted to low speed.
Able to get some cover at Woolworths shopping centre at Drayton & was able to phone our motel to advise that we would be late & our host Lyn gave me some directions.

This property needs some love. Dead flowers in pots outside rooms, carpet worn at entry to room and looked dirty, shower head needed replacing as did the glass of the shower screen.

酒店回复: Firstly Kevin, the plants in the pots have only recently done their time and are being replaced. I take pride in my motel being clean and tidy. It may be old and may need some renovations but as I recently bought it I intend to give it some love. If you had a problem then come see me, not post crap on online sites as many people do because they don't have the gall to say anything personally. The shower head in that room was only just replaced and with Toowoomba water it is hard to keep the shower screens perfectly clean, even though they are cleaned daily. The carpets were also recently cleaned. Next time you pay the amount you did, don't expect a resort. Guests like you are annoying. Thanks however for your unfair review. Cheers.

Medical Escapade
Spacious room, great bed and amenities. Close to corner shops for that must have snack. Easy to find on main road. Welcoming facade and staff.

I'll start with the good. Staff very friendly. Check in very easy. Got upgraded to a 2bdr room at check in. Bed is comfortable. Fresh milk provided and room serviced each day.
The cons. Noise from road traffic. Lights outside window don't turn off until after 10pm. Room very old and dated. Bathroom walls/tiling very unclean. There was mould in grout and boogers/grot/etc on the tiles in the shower and around the bathroom sink. And finally, I booked through Trivago and used 'pool' as a filter. Images on the site showed a pool. When we arrived there was a dirt patch where a pool used to be. Kids were devestated! If we had known, we would have gone elsewhere.
Overall, it's ok for a quick overnight stay if travelling through.

I am pleased you found the room comfortable and check in so pleasant.As far as the road noise goes, my residence is right on the road and I barely hear a thing and when I do I figure no doubt when we are on the New England Highway. People who book rooms on the main road/highway then complain about it I do not understand. Secondly, I take pride in my rooms being clean and tidy and although the room you were in is one of my older bathrooms and is a little worn it is clean. I check my cleaners rooms and trust me if there were boogers as you say in the shower I would have seen that and cleaned it. That room btw is being renovated in the next month so people like yourself can't complain how old it is. Although age to me doesn't matter, so long as it is clean and comfortable.In regards to the pool, our pool has been removed from the booking sites for months now so if you seen it there that is there fault and not ours and had you booked through me and actually spoke to me you would have not only found out there was no pool, you would have gotten the room cheaper. Your own fault for booking through one of these booking sites not mine. And the local pool is only 5 minutes away so you could have gone there.Thanks however for your review. Have a lovely easter.

Front desk service was friendly & excellent. Room was noisy - outside traffic and neighbors dogs. Very humid because of gap under door and permanent opening in bathroom window - A/C didn't remove humidity. Carpet and bathroom floor sticky from humidity. Beds clean & comfy. Basic amenities good (microwave, fridge, table to eat at, basic dishes). Noise was biggest factor.
