Lovely staff, in reception and in bar and restaurant, garden salad was delicious, food generally was good. Great bar, so many different gins, but enjoyed the wines too. Room was the cheapest and so was small, but was comfortable and was out in the Piggery, a short step from the hotel itself.

Arrived in the room which stank. Moved the rug from the floor to find an iron mark on the carpet. No ventilation into the bathroom which on a hot day was a smell of damp.
Sofa bed mattress was vile stains all over it. Not very appealing.
The rooms from the back of the property made it look something out of an American motel.
Breakfast and dinner was nice with good service from the staff.
Carpets in the hotel need a good change very old and dingy with tears and not very appealing.
The swimming pool was nice, the internal walls need some tlc.
Overall not a 3* in my opinion.

Lovely grounds, room was nice but some level of tired painting in the bathroom and overall in the swimming pool (peeling, mould)

Food was excellent. Staff were excellent. Bedding, pillows and towels excellent quality. Comfortable bed.
Furnishings quirky but needs better lighting and mirrors in bedroom and bathroom. Generally needs some TLC.

Fabulous stay, thank you for the little touches they meant a lot. Very lush garden and great game of huge chess. The food was delicious at breakfast too. Cute room and very lovely swim!

Loved our stay, beautiful location and the room was clear and very comfortable.

我们特意选择威德布鲁克庄园酒店 (Widbrook Grange) 就是为了带两个年幼的孩子享受泳池。然而，令人遗憾的是，我们抵达后才被告知，由于近期维护，泳池水温比平时低。这简直难以忍受！就连泳池房内的气温也只有15摄氏度，水温对小孩子来说完全不合适。更令人担忧的是，我四岁的女儿在进入泳池的台阶上滑倒了。结果发现台阶很不稳固。她摔伤了腿，自然也受到了惊吓。然而，如果是一位独自一人的老人，后果不堪设想。我们报告了此事，令人惊讶的是，酒店方面承认他们早就知道台阶损坏的问题（但尚未进行维修！）。然而，既没有设置警告标志，也没有任何警戒线阻止使用。
第二天早上吃早餐时，我在给小女儿（一岁）吃的自制酸奶/麦片里发现了一枚金属订书钉。此事再次上报并提交给了场地经理。显然，经理并未认为此事严重到需要亲自道歉（我女儿还没吃，却被噎住了！）。
最后一天早上，我女儿点了一份水煮蛋当早餐。结果送来的鸡蛋没煮熟。蛋清不仅略微流淌，而是完全透明。幸好，有人再次发现了这个问题，并在我女儿吃之前退回去了。任何厨师都不可能连鸡蛋都不会煮。那么，问题来了，究竟是谁负责“准备”和供应鸡蛋？
如此美丽的场地竟然在多个方面都表现糟糕，实在令人遗憾。这表明管理团队和相关负责人存在程序不规范和能力不足的问题。我们写信给总经理反映情况后，情况更加明朗。她虽然友好地调查了我们报告的事件，但否认了所有指控，并总结道：
“游泳池台阶已检查完毕，完好无损，符合使用要求。”未发现任何缺陷或结构性故障。泳池台阶的更换仅出于美观考虑，并非出于任何安全隐患。
“对隔夜燕麦中发现的所谓异物的调查未发现任何证据支持该说法。我们供应商的包装中不含所述性质的金属部件。厨房和食品加工区未使用订书钉。审查过程中未发现任何交叉污染或程序失误的证据。”
“基于以上调查结果，我们无法证实所提出的担忧。”
事故可能发生，但即便有多名目击者在场，拒绝承认事故发生，也会引发人们对企业文化的严重担忧，并阻碍任何改进的机会。
我们此次入住期间的证据表明，迫切需要审查相关程序，并在适当情况下对员工进行（重新）培训。如果健康与安全方面的整体责任由否认问题的管理团队承担，那么这种情况不太可能发生。不确定异物是如何进入厨房的，既不能证明异物没有发生，也不能证实异物没有发生。当然，我们的目标应该是实施额外的检查或流程，以确保类似事件不再发生，对吗？
请谨慎选择。
