Access to room was a minefield. Room was very ordinary with nowhere for soap etc in shower. Staff couldn’t care less until I expressed our feelings very forcefully. Definitely not a 4.5 luxury hotel

My wife and i stayed at the Meridian Port Douglas in November this year. Our room was awesome. Our room had pool access from the bedroom. Very clean bathroom and a nice big bed. Staff were very friendly, and even let us use the facilities there on our checkout, while we waited for our coach back to Cairns. We will definitely book with them again next year. Also, adults only was a plus! Cheers!

Great location just a 2 minute walk to the main shopping/bars/restaurants yet still very quiet at night. The one bedroom on the first floor (11A) was fantastic with a large balcony. Great pool area and the property is immaculately kept. The addition on laundry facilities and underground parking were a great additional touch - certainly would recommend
