Run, don’t walk away from this hotel! Every bad review is actually too kind about this disgusting dirty, heatless hotel. Simply put: this place should be treated with a wrecking ball.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE! I booked here to save money since staying in New York is expensive. But if I were to do this again, I'd be willing to fork up the extra hundreds of dollars to stay somewhere else. I booked two nights (Friday and Saturday) through Hotwire and paid upfront for a discount. I was arriving on a red eye flight since I didn't have any other option, so even though I booked Friday to Saturday, I would not arrive until 8am Saturday. When I arrived, I was told that my booking had been canceled and I would NOT get a refund. Apparently they had some "policy" where if you don't check in between 3pm on the first day (Friday) and 7am on the second day (Saturday), your booking is automatically canceled. Even if you pay upfront (which was $345 for two nights). The front desk person told me that if I wanted a room, I'd need to fork up another $300 for one night. I asked to see where it was written in the policies since all I saw in the booking was that check in was after 3pm Friday, and they refused to point me to anywhere it was written, but instead just kept insisting that was the policy. After arguing for a long time and arguing with Hotwire support (which you should also never trust), they eventually gave us the room from our original booking as a "courtesy" and told me that they just wanted me to "go through the process" as a lesson. I finally get to the room and the door wasn't even locked as though someone had gone in before us. Someone had cut the lamp wire so that there was no light in the room except for one by the door and the bathroom. In addition, the sheets, pillows, and towels were all stained, there was a hole in the bedsheet, and the window was foggy and cracked. DON'T STAY HERE IT'S A SCAM!

DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL, THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!! I haven't even gone on my vacation yet and requested to cancel my reservation so we can stay somewhere else, after reading the reviews, and they canceled my room booking and charged the full cost of my reservation to cancel and I cannot get ahold of ANYONE at the hotel via phone or email to get my money back. STEER CLEAR OF THESE THEIVES!!

We arrived Saturday night to find it was closed, no reason given. We were not sent any notice by text or email. Staff seemed annoyed to be there, were borderline rude and unhelpful with finding a replacement room.

Not sure why Wyndham would allow this property to use their brand name. I booked a room on the hotel site only to arrive and find out the hotel was “closed”. It was being utilized as a migrant/homeless shelter. A little advance notice would’ve been the least they could do. Had to scramble last minute and find another place to stay.
