I found SureStay by Best Western, in Jackson, MS to be a great place to get some sleep. My room was clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable.
Rooms open to the outside like a motor lodge. This one had been remodeled a few times, but looked nice and was clean. There is free parking, free WiFi, and a well maintained pool.
There are no restaurants or stores within walking distance. However, within a short drive there are many shops and restaurants.
The hotel staff was efficient.
The room had sufficient lighting, and plenty of electrical outlets for charging devices. There was a TV, mini-fridge, a small microwave, and a place for hang-ups.
The bathroom was equipped with dispensers on the wall for shampoo, conditioner and soap. Well, one had detached from the wall and was propped to the side. The towels were quite thin.
Something else that could be improved. In my room, some of the floor tiles were loose. There was an open space at the bottom of the door, as much as an inch, so that light from the outside shone through onto the floor.
Breakfast is minimal, but they have coffee.
Still.. I did sleep well and the price was low, so, I was happy, and pleased with my stay.

Only gave this hotel a 3 star because the breakfast was very low budget and no soap or shampoo in dispenser. The staff did give me a tiny bar of soap. I was able to wash one armpit.. lol..The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Yes, do wish eggs were offered. My husband has type 2 diabetes and carbs were all that were offered besides an apple.

Don't Stay Here
Upon entering the room, immediately noticed that the stand between the beds was falling off the wall. There was no TV remote or phone in the room. Upon procuring a TV remote that worked after two trips to the office, it didn't control the DirecTV. There was no weather stripping under the door to the room, so bugs and hot air could creep in the room. The bath tub was dirty and brown. The shower head barely worked. I'd highly recommend that if this is the only hotel with vacancy in Richland, you drive somewhere else.

I wouldnt recommend staying at this hotel.
During the check-in process, my debit card was charged three different times for the full amount of the 7-day stay. I am still waiting to see the reversal of these charges.
The rooms are not adequately cleaned before guests check in. The first room I got had a problem with the air conditioner, in the middle of the second night, it shut off and could not be restarted. The second room I was assigned had issues with its AC unit, the grill on the unit was missing, and it had dust caked in the screen. After the first night, I found a puddle of condensation water on the floor in front of the AC, so I had to move rooms again.
In the third room I was assigned, the sheets on the beds were still dirty from the last guest and had what I can only guess were blood stains.

A place to sleep and leave quickly. Room was dirty and in ill repair. Breakfast was horrible, generic all carbs. Waffle maker broken. At least you had coffee

the room smelled of smoke. Was not asked what we preferred. I left my pillow in the room when we checked out. I called as soon as I reached my destination. He said he would check the room when the current guests checked out. What I didn’t understand is if the room was cleaned after we checked out why didn’t the cleaning staff notice that my pillow didn’t belong in that room. The person that answered the phone said he would call back. No response.!called again,No response
