The location of hotel is good . Food is excellent. Rooms need an upgrade. Bathrooms need an upgrade Avoid rooms without windows if your are claustrophobic Not upto the marriot standards

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. Had booked the room for 2 Adults and 1 Child. However upon arrival, the hotel insisted I pay separately for the child despite me showing the proof of the same. Ultimately the boss of the senior most person had to be called to intervene and we finally got a checkin after almost 1 hour of heated arguments. The room given to us had cockroaches and they were not even calling the pest control or room service to clean the room.We finally got the room changed. Had TripAdvisor supported videos, I would have uploaded those too in this review. Room service was pathetic with each request for water, soap, etc being made 2-3 times before getting the amities. Breakfast was also average with service for simple items such as black coffee being hopelessly slow.. I would never recommend this properly to anyone. This property is "Bogus Marriott" completely ruining the reputation of Marriott as a brand. Above all this the hotel did not even make an effort to apologise thereby highlighting their insensitivity to customer service.

-No Welcome drink served . -No complimentary evening Tea provided. Although these were part of inclusions. -Inspite of informing the same to the front office staff , nothing was done . -I was informed that there is no Manager at the moment. -Buffet breakfast supposed to start at 7.30am however only 10% was available at that time. Lights also kept off.Not even tea/coffee was available.Food actually was filled after 8am -Saw shortage of staff and very slow service. -Overall a bad experience

This is at best a 3* hotel claiming to be a 4*. We have travelled to several places throughout the world and are in the middle of a 4 week tour of Gujarat. We have stayed in a few Fern Hotels and the others have been good to excellent. Here in Jamnagar- the room was old with paint peeling and stains. The bed sheet had holes. The shower room had no curtain so had to request one to be put on. The shower flow was slow and worse of all the water in the shower was tepid. Breakfast was good. Not sure how this hotel has managed a 4.6 rating on Tripadvisor. I only post reviews of hotels which are excellent or those that need improvement. The Fern Jamnagar needs to improve if it is claiming to be a 4* hotel.

The place is pathetic. Dirty cups at breakfast, no hot water in shower, ac not working in hallway outside rooms making the place smell musty, no proper pillow covers, do not accept disposable pillow covers in a hotel by a long shot. Do not understand why and how they are reviewed so highly. Anyone wanting to stay there..... Avoid... Think again... Was terrible.

Poorly maintained, smelly corridors, dirty lobby toilet, very average food and old rooms that need a spruce up. Our bed linen included disposable pillow covers and we didn't have any hot water- a basic amenity in a 4 star hotel. Definitely not 4 star standard and I wonder how they procured a Travel Advisor Travellers Choice 2025 award ?? There was no clean toilet amenity for our driver, and no provision for some basic dormitory acco that some other hotels have provided. We complained to the front office manager Mr. Shashi about our experience and requested him to take our feedback to the GM who we did not see since we checked in yesterday late afternoon. Fern enjoys a reasonable reputation but of the 5 properties we stayed at during our Gujarat tour of Rajkot Junagadh , Somnath , Gir, Dwarka, and Jamnagar- this property comes last in the comfort and cleanliness. factor.
