Had a very awful experience here, the lady at the reception is incredibly rude and noise from the street was very disturbing and kept us up all night. Definitely wouldnt recommend for families - although theyre is a family room your children will be told off but the horrible lady for merely walking around. It is now our fault they have flimsy floorboards and any step could be heard. We arrived at 7:30pm and check out the next morning at 8am and those 12hrs couldnt go by faster

I was allocated a small but clean room with shower and toilet. I was greeted by a helpful and friendly reception. Parking was free as was the Wi-Fi. The price was reasonable apart from the fact there was no heating. The room was cold and I left a day early because I found it so uncomfortable.

My experience of the rye hotel I would rate it very poor my room and bathroom was full of mound and damp I asked to change the room as I suffer from asthma was told no more rooms left check on booking dot com and they have rooms she is a liar as well. Would not recommend that place to anyone not even my dog. No stars from me would give it minus stars if I could

Astonished by some of the bad reviews. This place is straightforward, clean, tidy and warm. Superb value for money and friendly staff. Cannot fault it for the money. Would be completey confident rebooking to stay here.

Reception was unmanned requiring a phone call to summon someone to book you in. On check out you put the keys into a box in reception. Given a key we found our way to our room. We were in a triple bed room. The room was exactly what you would expect for a cheap budget hotel. The pillows were soft and flat. There looked like there were stains on the wall next to the bed. The shower was not that clean. The room was cold with minimum light. But for somewhere to stay for a night its okay.

At first view of hotel and room when booked seemed lovely but on close inspection the pillows were flat very very warm unable to breath only 1 full window but was unless a fan was in the room but due to alot of dust it didn't cool the room down Also limescale in bottom of kettle plus the milk was certainly gone off which caused my self and my grandson who is only (10 ) to feel unwell and sick Our room was located at the back of the hotel which was very untidy and crawling with rats which could have easily climbed up the metal railings that were out the back and into our room which we had to close the window just incase really disappointing. The reception has the cheek to ring my stepdaughter stating we had been smoking in the room as it smelt of cigetettes which we had not we went OUTSIDE round the back to our room Also had the nerve to say if the smell doesn't clear they will charging us a £75 penalty I'm sorry but with the rats and dirt from there we will be getting in touch with environmental health . It shouldn't be open 3star haha close it down Do not stay at this hotel !!!!!

I had booked to stay at the Rye Court Hotel for business and didn't realise how far away from High Wycombe it was. When I arrived there, the building was very shabby on the outside, walls falling down, building rubble and generally untidy. Went to reception, no one there, like other guests had to call to get someone to check me in. Someone called Khan eventually showed up. I was there on business, again like other people, the WiFi was more or less non existent, coming and going. I was booked for 4 nights, I eventually had to get another hotel because of the poor internet service and the huge distance from the nearest town, out in the middle of nowhere. I asked for a refund for at least one of the nights - I spoke to a woman at the reception who said that she would refund me for one night, that has not happened, I'm very disappointed with that. So the next person who decides to book this hotel, (more like a boarding house) please read the reviews carefully before you spend your hard earned money for very substandard service.
