Our recent stay at State Beach Resort in Payyambalam was truly delightful. The resort's prime location offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea, providing a serene and picturesque backdrop for relaxation. The Victorian-style architecture and well-maintained premises added to the charm of our experience. A special mention goes to Akshaya at the reception. Her warm hospitality, attentiveness, and genuine care made us feel exceptionally welcomed. From the seamless check-in process to her insightful recommendations about local attractions, Akshaya's professionalism and friendly demeanor significantly enhanced our stay. She truly embodies the essence of excellent customer service. While the resort offers a tranquil environment perfect for unwinding, we did notice that the dining options, though delicious, were somewhat limited and on the pricier side. However, the overall ambiance and the comfort of the sea-facing rooms more than compensated for this.

State Beach House is a good place to stay and visit especially considering its location and views. The property is located on a cliff overlooking the sea and has amazing uninterrupted views of it. Overall location is also amazing with the main Payyambalam beach and good eateries all within a km from the property. The suite too was wonderful, spacious and well maintained with good cleaning and upkeep everyday. Where the property can improve is in good choices and especially the breakfast spread. All items in the breakfast were cold and not so fresh. If they can improve that it would be an ideal choice.

The rooms are very small for the price range and images shown in MMT! Frequent power cuts made stay miserable with combination of humid and extremely cold air within the room as AC was automatically tuned to 16 degrees! Restroom faucet was working like aerospace jet engine almost tearing the skin and cleanliness is not up to the standards! Only positive feedback is their restaurant staff who are very polite and always helpful in nature!
