We always encourage our guests to share their preferences with us in advance or during their stay so we can tailor the experience accordingly.Regarding the pre-authorisation and additional charge, we would like to clarify that pre-authorisation amounts are released immediately by the hotel upon check-out, but the timing of the funds returning to your account is subject to your card issuer’s processing times. The £15 charge for the banana cakes was applied to a different card, which was also refunded at check-out.
