From the advertise pictures I was expecting to see something special being at Lakeside hotel is also where they host international darts in the same complex very disappointed didn't appear to be a lot of staff around hotel looks very tired. Need a really good refurbishment the Lakeside hotel is not that close to many restaurants et cetera so I ended up having to eat in a restaurant area. Had to wait a long time to order food and even longer to get a drink as there was one lady who bless her was doing her best to cover both the bar and the restaurant area on her own and she was also at an age which must be quite tough. The food arrived. It was edible but nothing special as I was attending an exhibitor exhibition the following morning I asked that reception if I could get room service for breakfast as the normal service of breakfast was later and I could attend. I filled out a card offering a list of choices for the breakfast. Their credit arrived at 6:30 as asked but unfortunately they decided to ignore my choices and put everything else, but what I chose on my plate and I didn't have time to discuss it with them . As I was staying for two nights the following evening I went out for dinner instead but I did attend the normal service breakfast the following morning where they seem to be more staff on and was greeted with a smile. There was limited choice again, but there was a full breakfast which I went for and that wasmore than acceptable.

Would stay again
Hotel is a little dated but it's quirkiness gives it character. Rooms were large, comfortable and cleaned daily. Staff were generally very friendly. Couple of negatives were the cost of dinner for what was a relatively basic menu and the days when breakfast wasn't a buffet due to low residency which meant a tick-box order sheet had to be filled in.

Hotel was a blast from the past - Great Lobby and ceiling,
had nice view over the lake. Hotel was clean in outside areas and rooms. Staff were pleasant and polite. Breakfast is buffet style but labelling could be better e.g what is tea/coffee. Overall a pleasant stay.

2nd time Staying here and it was a Year ago since were here still a Great Hotel.Good Food and Wonderful View over the Lake
我们抵达时，停车场几乎是空的，还以为走错地方了，而且也没有任何指示牌写着“前台”！
我们费了好大劲才找到前台，觉得接待有点冷淡。我们入住的行政房非常棒，能俯瞰湖景。酒店位置很好，方便沿着运河散步，步行范围内还有几家不错的酒吧。
早餐比较简单，但做得很好，而且一直保持热乎乎的。
我们还会再来的。
住得很愉快，床很舒服，下次还会再来。
酒店经理态度恶劣，简直令人发指。我们退房时因为客房服务耽搁了一会儿，她就开始冲我们大吼大叫。我从未见过酒店管理人员如此粗鲁无礼。这样的人根本不应该在这种环境下工作。她无缘无故地让我感到受到了威胁，我不得不四处投诉。
我从 8 月 31 日到 9 月 8 日预订，并在第 7 天订购。（昨天）他们把我的衣服从房间里拿走，扔进信封里，因为他们说我的住宿结束了，我不得不再付一晚 80 英镑才能睡觉。坏的
