We stayed in the Cork Factory for one night in September. We were in the area to visit Millersville University on a college visit tour. My daughter and I were placed in a room in the courtyard area that was accessed by a separate entrance from the regular hotel. The door that we needed to enter through definitely needs to be looked at. It was not shutting properly and we had trouble getting in that way. We were also only able to use one of our two keycards to get into our room. Because we checked in late and were not coming and going from the room, it wasn't a huge deal. However, the rooms could use an update for the price we paid... there were stains on the carpet and the AC unit was super loud as it turned on and off all night (this unit didn't allow a fan to continuously run, which would have helped disguise the blower starting and stopping).

Great find in Lancaster! The accommodations are comfortable and unique, and the price point is reasonable.

Our room was very comfortable, except for the fact that the hotel is a remodel of an old distillery, and in an effort to keep the industrial feel and vibe, the rooms aren't well insulated. We recommend requesting the top floor so you can't hear every step in the room above yours.

Nice staff. Very helpful. Restaurant food was great. Air conditioner was loud and carpet needed cleaned but room was comfortable.

Great accommodations!
Loved this refurbished Hotel!! Beautifully well done! We stayed in a standard room and it was clean, roomy, and inviting!! Didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant but would like to do so…we did enjoy a nightcap at the bar☺️ The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The ONLY thing that would have made it just a bit nicer was if there was a small breakfast option to get started in the day besides coffee and tea… nothing fancy needed. Would definitely like to stay here again!!

Compared to other area hotels, Cork is a stand out because of its unique property attributes. Our room on the fourth floor was special because of the wooden roof view. The room furnishings are pretty basic but the space is generous and the bathroom is well appointed. The public spaces are very nice and the restaurant was truly outstanding. A bit nit picky but important: (1) I didn't like the super thin carpet tiles. I think a more plush carpeting or even hardwood with area rugs would be better. (2) I don't understand why hotels can't figure out how to provide high definition TV in the room. (3) It's a bit of a nuisance to require payment for EV charging. It should be provided by the hotel as an included amenity.
