We were party of a larger wedding party, over 10+ rooms. I had booked my rooms approximately a year ago. When booking I opted for the meal deal. On the morning of check in I received a message from family telling us there was no restaurant available for the evening meal or breakfast. Myself and the rest of my close family had not been called. Thinking this was a mistake i call the reservations center, they new nothing of the issue. I called Saffron Walden directly and Molly informed me that there was no restaurant and that she had been calling guests the previous day to let them know. Molly was polite but gave no apology for not calling me and no apology for the restaurant being closed only an acknowledgement that it was inconvenient. When asked she confirmed a refund would be issued. I called the reservation centre back to have this confirmed but again they know nothing about it. I cancelled the meal deal myself to ensure a refund was issued. At the time if writing I am waiting for the refund but this also worries me as i am still waiting for a refund for the room I cancelled 7 days ago. This is not an acceptable way to treat any guests at anytime but this was the morning of a wedding which caused a large number of the wedding party, including the bride extra stress.

我妻子二月份预订了酒店，包含早餐、晚餐和晚间饮品，为我庆祝六十岁生日，并计划九月份去附近的达克斯福德观看航展。我们选择了“先预订后付款”的方案。抵达前酒店并未告知餐厅已关闭（七月份？），前台接待员对我们的担忧不以为意。当时前台正在电梯附近更换灯泡，他办公桌后面的蜂鸣器和小型警报器也响个不停——显然，这些“警报”对他来说无关紧要。酒店距离最近的餐厅步行需要20分钟（不过，马路对面的Aldi超市允许我们第二天晚上在房间里享用“房间沙拉和冷鸡块”作为替代餐食）。免费早餐与之前的评论者所述完全一致。哦，航展很精彩！
这次酒店之行并不愉快。餐厅正在装修，所以酒店提供免费的“欧陆式早餐”。结果发现，所谓的早餐不过是包装好的羊角面包或巧克力面包，没有任何可以涂抹或搭配的食材——没有黄油、果酱之类的，甚至连个纸盘或塑料刀都没有。咖啡机倒是煮出了很棒的咖啡，这算是唯一的亮点。床很舒服，符合我们对Premier Inn的预期，但浴室里一些简单的细节，比如顶部锈迹斑斑的洗手液瓶盖都没人更换，就让人失望了。最令人恼火的是，我们晚上9点半回到酒店，吃完晚饭（因为酒店附近没有步行可达的餐厅，我们不得不开车去），发现残疾人停车位都被一些工人的车占满了，根本没地方停车。停车场其他地方也都满了，我们只好把车停在酒店后面的双黄线上。
睡得很好，工作人员非常称职，尤其是早餐时的 Giovanna 女士。方便的机场班车，每人 2 英镑。，...................................................................................
