We made a trip to Muhu specifically to eat the 9-course menu at Padaste Manor. We made a reservation the day before by phone and email, as requested. When we arrived at the restaurant and sat down at our table, we were told that only a 5-course menu was available – the 9-course menu had to be ordered 24 hours in advance. They should have told us this when we made the reservation. We were naturally disappointed, and it ruined the whole dinner – it wasn't what we had come there for. The food was well presented, but fell far short of expectations. In addition, they even had the nerve to sign a clearly poorly printed menu, as can be seen in the picture. All of this simply did not meet the quality standards we were looking for.

Fantastic experience and an incredible place! Five course dinner with paired wines was excellent. We also appreciated that the owners and the chef spent time with all their guests. An additional extra thanks for superb customer service to Staffan 🙏

We discovered Pädaste Manor on the island of Muhu about fifteen years ago. The location is idyllic, so peaceful with just the sound of the wind in the trees and the song of the nightingale. We return as often as we can for short breaks and to celebrate important family events. Pädaste has set the standard by which we measure other hotels. None of them come close. The Manor has been restored to a very high standard with friendly, intelligent staff who take a personal delight in looking after their guests. We are pampered not just by the staff but with soft comfortable beds, a sumptuous breakfast and the delights served up at their Michelin standard restaurant. Thank you to the team at Pädaste for making us feel so special once again. We look forward to seeing before too long.
