We used RCI, having more than 5 weeks in the bank, to come to Christmas Mountain Village. This is our 4th year coming from one to two weeks in a row. The events we wanted to see were right in the Dells: a Christmas show, mountain coaster, and going often to the Sand Bar Pub and Grill. Our Townhome was spectacular. We used the fireplace (albeit gas) often. We even bought a 4-foot tree to put up. We had next to So Cal for 4.5 months. We hope to be back here in mid-July for some fun events as well. Plan on a Midwest trip to Wisconsin Dells and stay at Christmas Village

Now that Hilton owns Bluegreen they implemented a "cash grab" fee of $30/per night beyond the "exchange fee" which was the big draw of owning a timeshare and booking via RCI. Hilton sucks.

Very small for 2 BR. Walls were very thin (interior and exterior). Small pool was only kid free from 6-9 am. Don't you love having to get up early when on vacation to use a pool that was part of the $30 mandatory daily amenity fee? Unit had a wood burning fireplace, but no wood or fire tools and staff never mentioned if they would provide them or if it was our responsibility. Being off season it was obvious they had lots of availability, yet assigned us a shack, I mean "cottage" that met the 2 BR 1 BA requirements of our reservation yet was obviously the lesser of accommodations. They wanted to take us on a 2 hr tour of the property (I guess to show us how much better the other accommodations were...) Since we don't own through Blue Green (but do currently own 4 timeshares), I would have thought they would have tried to put their best foot forward to convince us that we needed to own with Blue Green. That was definitely not the case.

Excellent Resort Great location Only complaint is that we had to pay an additional $30/day fee for amenities that we did not use.

COCKROACHES! I've held off on writing this review hoping they would offer some appropriate type of compensation for a nightmare weekend we experienced and we could all go on our merry way, but we haven't heard back from them in months so I feel no choice but to warn others. We stayed in cabin 366 back in July. After crashing for the night and venturing out all day the next day, when we got back that evening, we discovered the place was crawling with cockroaches. When we discovered them, it was around 11:00 pm on Saturday night. An employee, Eric, promptly came to the cabin (great!), saw the cockroaches and said there wasn't much he could do - we'd need to talk to the manager in the morning?!?!? (Not so great!) He offered us free breakfast the next morning at their on-site restaurant. Hard pass-we wanted off this property as fast as possible. We spent the night in the laundry room washing all of our clothing and inspecting our bags, and then putting them in sealed garbage bags and directly into our car. My biggest fear was bringing the bugs home with us. Talking with the manager the next morning, we were met with a rude and dismissive tone. And then told we'd get a phone call to rectify the situation. Still waiting on that phone call. (We've called numerous times but they never did anything to compensate us.) I know stuff like this can happen. But when a weekend is ruined, you'd think management would want to make it right. Live up to the issue and fix it. Will NEVER return.

Christmas Mountain did NOT fix the problem of wasps. Even after we moved to a different unit, they put a different family in the one with the wasps. That family moved out within 12 hours. Also, be aware that Christmas Mountain has teamed up with Hilton. So now they charge $30.00 per day per unit -$221 for a week.

I have been using RCI for 30 plus years to go to Christmas mountain, now it's Blue/Green. They have instituted a RESORT AMENITIES FEE OF $221.55, $30.00 A DAY PLUS TAX, when using RCI for your stay. WON'T BE GOING BACK.

We are coming up on our one year anniversary of severe bed bug infestation. The rooms were out dated a bit, but nice….until my girlfriend’s daughter woke up with over 100 bed bug bites all over her. It appeared as if Blue Green would do the right thing. They acknowledged there was bed bug infestation and gave us three new suites in another area of the complex. They took all of the clothing from the 4 girls in the affected suite telling us they would take care of any infestation. Unfortunately they never returned the clothing and told us they would do nothing to compensate us unless we could show receipts for the clothing. (Who keeps receipts for all of the clothing they ever purchased?) I am a Titanium Marriott member with 973 nights at Marriott properties alone. I have never experienced bed bugs before. My first stay at a Blue/Green property and the management acted as if this is just a standard issue for travelers and there is no accountability on their end.

We were given a two bedroom cabin. Glad we did not invite anyone as it was very small. Only place to hang clothing was in room with twin beds. Table and chairs were high top with stools that did not have backs. Could not use them for eating as they were too uncomfortable. King bed was comfortable. Bathroom could have used a grab bar as tub was slippery to get in and out of. There were plenty of towels and everything was clean. Living room furniture was not very comfortable. Had to use pillows for back. We were definitely disappointed with Bluegreen vacations for not letting us know that we could not use canoes or kayaks since they had closed for the season. Also, restaurants on property had limited hours. The booking agent should have informed us before we came as we probably would not have chosen to come at this time.
