The view was amazing! Our condo was so nice. I appreciated the quick responses from the property on any questions I had. The parking was tight but doable. Great area for everything!

The property is in the perfect place on the south shore. Poipu beach is a very short walk. The views are just the best. The propery its self is the best 1 i have ever stayed at.

Great location, but very disappointing stay
I booked this hotel because of its location and paid a high price, but the condition of the unit was very disappointing. The facilities were old, and one of the kitchen cabinet doors was falling off. There were many stains throughout the kitchen and bathroom, and the shower area had several mold-like marks (the manager said they weren’t mold, but they definitely looked like it), which made it feel unclean. I also saw two cockroaches during my stay — one of them inside the dishwasher, which was shocking. I closed it right away, and the next day it was gone, probably moving around inside.
The one positive was that the office responded quickly when I reported issues. But with a broken cabinet door, cockroaches, and suspicious stains in the shower, I definitely wouldn’t want to stay here again.

These are older condos that show some wear and tear but that’s doctors the close proximity to the ocean. Sea water and salt over years. With that being said, probably one of the best stays in Hawaii we ever had. We have stayed in 4-5 star hotels and they are amazing, however for the location and parking and no resort fees, this is the place on Kauai. Your balcony overlooks the ocean and you fall asleep to the waves crashing on the cliff. We saw a pod of dolphins and numerous turtles from our balcony. Our unit was pretty up to date. No air conditioner but you really do not need one due to the location. The staff was very friendly even though they were understaffed, but Kauai right now that seems to be everywhere. I would very much so recommend this place.

We stayed at Castle Po’ipū Shores and, while the location is absolutely unreal, the unit itself felt pretty dated. Lots of rusty fixtures, and some of the room amenities were subpar—think “bring-your-own-screwdriver” energy. That said, it’s hard to be too mad when you’re watching sea turtles and sunsets from your lanai.
Let’s be real: no one flies to Hawaii to hang out in their room. If you’re coming for the beaches, scenery, and proximity to all things Kaua’i, this place delivers. But if you’re squeamish about the occasional cockroach or feel uneasy around questionable metalwork, maybe book elsewhere—or just make sure your tetanus shot is current and lean into the charm.
Would we stay here again? Maybe… if the price is right and we pack some WD-40.

Didn’t get what we paid for or what was pictured
The location was amazing but our room was horible. I'm not one to complain but this particular room at Castle Poipu Shores, shouldn't be rented again. It needs a renovation. Kitchen has delaminated cupboards, tub with shower doors mildew & mold, tub didn't drain properly, all window screens gapping, all drawers swollen & hard to move, patio doors, washer broken didnt spin our clothes. The list goes on. This room should be inspected by a health code inspector, it wouldn't pass.
We paid a premium price to be on tbis property. We booked a deluxe 2 bedroom. We had to change our dates by 2 days because of an airplane flight reschedule. We got a room with less square footage than what we booked and we had to pay more because of the change in dates by 2 days.
We should have been shown pictures that depicted the suite, not just the best the property had to offer. We researched the location and wanted very much to stay at Castle Poipu Shores. We were shocked when we checked in at 1130pm Friday. The office didn’t open until Monday so we had no one to complain to.

它面朝大海，我无法在海浪拍打岩石的声音中入睡，哈哈。风景特别是日落非常壮观。泳池下面的海里有海龟。设施比较旧，虽然不算不干净，但是有些老化，建议大家考虑一下入住。最麻烦的是周六周日没有前台工作人员。他们会给你联系方式，但是对于不懂英语的人来说非常不方便。不过，前台工作人员很友善。步行即可到达波伊普海滩。顺便说一句，泳池很深，几乎无法触及，因此不适合儿童。此外，由于没有照明设备，游泳池在日落时关闭。
