It's a Wonderful experience. The view is very nice similar in their name Lake and River . Good hospitality and all the staffs are very much friendly and attentive, in Boating we go through the sole of Munroe Island and it was amazing. Spacious rooms in Upstairs. Neat and clean well maintained rooms. Amble parking space. Food is also Deletious..

Exceptional Stay at Lake n River Resort We stayed at the resort for 2 days— checked in on Saturday (21st) and checked out on Monday (23rd) — and it was truly a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Booking Experience The booking process was completely hassle-free. A friend recommended the resort, so I contacted them directly. I had several queries and made multiple calls, and each time the team responded patiently and professionally. The entire booking experience was smooth and comfortable. Facilities The swimming pool, indoor games, and outdoor activities were all very well maintained. Since there were fewer guests during our stay, everything was easily available and the environment felt peaceful and relaxing. Staff & Service – Truly Outstanding The service deserves special appreciation. Every staff member was polite, attentive, and genuinely caring. During our stay, there was sudden heavy rain which caused some discomfort in our room. The staff and the manager, Himani Monga, took immediate action and upgraded us to a suite room without any extra charge. They followed up multiple times to ensure we were completely comfortable. Special mention to Kashup and the entire team for their exceptional hospitality and prompt support. Their personal attention truly made our stay special. Even during the rainy period, they arranged food to be served in our room and regularly checked on our comfort. There was also an AD shooting happening at the resort during our visit, but the team ensured complete privacy for us at all times. There was absolutely no disturbance, and everything was handled very professionally. Shikkara Boat Experience We also enjoyed the shikkara boat service arranged by the resort. The boat was well maintained, the ride was peaceful, and the overall experience was unforgettable — truly one of the highlights of our trip. Food The food quality and taste were excellent. A small suggestion would be to include more variety in the buffet breakfast and dinner, which would make the dining experience even better. Overall Experience Overall, it was a genuine 5-star experience — wonderful service, great facilities, delicious food, and warm hospitality.

Excellent location . Quiet , serene and peaceful . Magical atmosphere. Resort surrounded by lovely lake and river , swaying tall coconut trees, mesmerising mangroves , backwaters and chirping birds . A little piece of heaven . Room spacious , Spock & span . Total hygiene. Quality & taste of food A grade . Loved every bite . Staff behaviour perfect . Courteous and respectful . Full credit to the manager , Himani , who looked after us as if we are like her parents . Coul not have asked for anything better . One of best stays of our life . Thank you Lake River resort .

Our favourite place to stay for 2 nights during our holiday! Staff went above and beyond for the 5 welsh girls! The pool/canoes/badminton/cricket areas all got used and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful sunset cruise and a boat down the small canals ducking under the low bridges. Food was fabulous and it’s such a beautiful quiet setting in busy India!!!

Lake N River is an excellent place to relax and take in the wonders of nature whilst enjoying the comforts of a very well run hotel. There are only 9 rooms and the hotel has extensive grounds with many peaceful areas from which to relax & enjoy the sights of the river and lake. There is a lovely pool or cricket net and badminton court if you’re feeling more active. The food was another highlight of our stay - always fresh and tasty. Our fondest memory will be of the staff: they’re a wonderful team of cheerful, proactive and professional young people led by an excellent manager who goes the extra mile to ensure her guests have a great stay. Compared to other places we’ve stayed Lake N River was exceptionally good value. The dawn punted canoe ride was excellent - great to enjoy the sun rise over the lake and the total calm of the waters whilst watching sea eagles & kites overhead. The little canals were interesting and memorable. I’d love to do it again.
