Outside appearances can be deceiving.
They didn't have the queen bed we had a reservation for. We stayed in a room with double beds, the beds were ok, not well made and the continental breakfast was questionable.

I checked in around 8 p.m. Walking past the breakfast area table, there was dry cereal still spilled on table, butter patties still out from morning. Table cloth unruly with torn hole in plastic table cloth. An employee, with two children asked for my room key back so he could check TV. When he was finished, all I wanted was to get into my room and lie down quietly with my splitting migraine headache. The bed cover on bed was hanging partly out of the comforter on top of bed. I looked under the comforter, and I absolutely swear the bed had not been changed from a previous guest. I felt so sick from my headache, I just laid on top of the comforter for the next several hours. As very early morning came, and seeing the rest of the room, I should have just left the motel and drove the 40 or so miles to another town. I don't mind an old motel as long as its very clean and not in need of repair. I would not take a shower in this room, the toilet was rust stained. There was a huge hole in the sheet rock from the shower leaking I woud guess, the bathroom floor tile were lifting, the trim around the whole place need to be either replaced, or cleaned and gone over with wood stain. THe TV was so difficult to try to find channels, I just gave up in the morning. I go to this town, Cheyenne Wells, Colorado, a few times a year, and this is the only motel in town. I have stayed in it before, but it has gotten so run down, I don't think I will again stay there.

Bad experience. Pictures don't look like what it is. Cockroaches on wall and rat in bathroom. Staff could not find keys to other rooms to switch my room or unwilling to refund.

The only reason I didn’t rate this property as terrible was that a couple of staff really tried to provide service. No one was at the desk, and the person who should have been there never showed up. Fortunately, two staff who I found cleaning got me checked in and tried to get the room ready. There were dead bogs all over the floor at check in, by check out, there were live bugs walking around the bathroom. No smoke detector in the room and at least one light fixture had no globe over the light bulb.

This is a terrible place to stay!
This was the worse place I have ever visited. Made reservations online and said everything was good. When we showed up there was no rooms available. This was probably a blessing as this property looked like a drug house.

Awful place to stay. Dirty, poor management, checked out early and they didn’t know how to give a refund. Still haven’t received the refund. Wanted my husband to call the manager to figure it out himself.
