Lovely place, beautiful food and a really nice room and ambience. But what really made this place was the wonderful warm staff.

The lady on arrival was really welcoming, the girl looking after us for food was very attentive and the gentleman who welcomed us at breakfast was delightful.

Would highly recommend and will be back in future, thankyou so much!

Our visit just felt very awkward and strange. We booked on a Sunday off the back of good reviews as we were staying locally. When we walked in we were greeted by 2 members of staff, showed to the dining room, another 2 members of staff, but the place was empty. The staff didn’t have enough to do, were congregating around the doorway and we felt watched. The food was gorgeous, but when I told The chef there were flies on the meat he flicked it away and was rude. Very expensive for a cafe vibe. Could be brilliant with some small changes.

We stayed with our young son for 3 nights in July 2024. The staff were absolutely lovely, so welcoming and helpful with everything we needed and great with interacting with our young son. The food - breakfast and dinner - is truly incredible with nothing too much trouble. The only downside we experienced really was that we were in a room on the top floor which, while the room had clearly been hoovered etc, it was dusty in places with lots of cobwebs - while we don't mind spiders, we removed about 8 to outside in the first 15 minutes of being in the room and the massive cobweb over the actual toilet bowl was quite disconcerting. However, once we had sorted this out, the room was very spacious and a great place for us to explore from.

I often visit the coachman and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! The staff, especially the owner Erkan are the best around and nothing is ever too much! The food is lovely as well! If you ever want a lovely country pub to visit this is the place to go!
