Myself and a colleague stayed at Lake Avenue House as we were attending a conference in the nearby Slieve Russell Hotel (13 minutes drive). Our host, Catherine, could'nt have been more hospitable. The rooms were lovely with all mod-cons and were presented immaculately. Ensuite & shower Breakfast was exceptional with buffet options followed by a delicious fry. Highly recommended and I would definitely stay again. Defintely a cut above most B&Bs and a warm welcome awaits.

Beautiful bed and breakfast in a lovely quiet part of County Cavan. Room was very clean, really comfortable bed, excellent shower. Catherine was really friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed the breakfast, great variety of cereal, fresh fruit, fruit juice and a wide choice of cooked breakfast available. Well worth a visit.

Me and my family stayed here and we loved it the scenery is breathing from where you eat your amazing breakfast which was accompanied by the best banana bread.We had a lovely night's sleep aswell and took a nice walk up the lane in the morning taking in the countryside air.

I'm from Southern Oregon, US and stayed here with my two adult children to visit the nearby town of Killeshandra. It could not have been more pleasant at Lake Avenue House. The home is so comfy and well appointed and with modern technology. Very comfortable beds too. The surrounding countryside and lake were great for walks. We had a delicious Irish breakfast, French press coffee each morning and warm lighting and an open door for our return each night. A genuinely warm and kind hostess. Of all the places we stayed on our trip, Lake Avenue House came in as our favorite. We look forward to staying here again.

Lovely place to stay in a beautiful quiet location. Rooms are spotless with all the facilities you would expect. Host Catherine is so welcoming! Delicious breakfasts with home made wheaten bread. It's a little haven for the weary traveller after a day's walking.

My sister and I stayed with Catherine for a couple of nights in March. The accommodations are beautiful and the breakfast was excellent. But the best part was Catherine herself... she was friendly, charming, and willing to offer up help in any way she could! Even to sharing her brown bread recipe! Thanks Catherine...
