We see your photos but did explain that we were working on our pool and hot tub when you visited and are sorry that it was not what you expected. Due to our rainy season mosquitoes are a natural result and we did have spray to offer you but we did not know about it when you were here. Also, we apologize for not being able to prevent the pests for you. We do not know where the Hotel Monte Vista is, but it is not near us. We do hope that you were able to take home some of the good things that you did enjoy about staying here and in Albuquerque as well as the rest of your trip to the United States. We realize people have many choices for travel and are grateful for guests who select our property.

Absolutely phenomenal stay at the Red Horse. You will truly feel like family while staying here. It is a sanctuary and such a perfect respite during my incredibly long and exhausting trip across the country. The hot breakfast was delicious, the room was beautifully decorated and clean, and the property was peaceful and quiet. I will absolutely be back. I highly recommend staying here as true bed & breakfast experiences are becoming harder and harder to find.

The staff including the chef treated us like family and very knowledgeable of the area which was very helpful to us. The room was like new and fully up to date with beautiful decor. I would not hesitate to stay again

This place is a diamond in rough. I was concerned with the area, but I was so surprised and delighted. Wonderful people and delicious breakfast. Our French bulldog had a great time.

What an amazing stay we had at Red Horse B&B. This is a beautiful, tranquil property/farm right in Albuquerque. The owners and staff were so kind and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Our room was beautiful, large and well appointed, bed comfortable, and we loved being able to walk outside our room onto the patio filled with beautiful trees and scenery. The property abounds with history of the area and the owners. We didn’t stay long enough to use the pool, play badminton or engage in other outdoor activities, but we wish we had. Our farm to table breakfast was excellent and generous. Truly, this place is a gem and we will be going back for a much longer stay.

As a B&B first timer, Phil & Darlene set a pretty high bar for comfort, cleanliness & delicious farm fresh breakfast with great conversations. The property boasts country charm among the rose bushes, hummingbirds, bunny, horse & goat. We were made to feel like family. Looking forward to another stay here in the future.

Very nicely restored old family home on a farm. The hosts provided all sorts of amenities to make us feel at home. Room was cozy and comfortable. The area is very quiet - you can open the windows for fresh air. Such a welcome change from the chain hotels by the interstate that we usually stay at.
