It turns out that the previous guest left a couple of their towels in the cabinet under the sink which we promptly removed -- apologies again about that, but to be clear, we provided you with fresh clean towels in the room to use, we did not give you used towels.2. Yes, there are no coffee machines in the rooms - not sure where the expectation came from as this is not an amenity we specify that we provide, but noted is something convenient to have in the rooms, and is something we can work towards having in the future.3. We are a small motel, mostly run by a single person, so yes, the office is generally open each morning between 8-9am. This is something we explain to each guest checking in, but as I recall, you were in a rush to get to your room so perhaps you missed that detail? There is a sign on the door explaining that you can call or text for the office to be opened for coffee/tea earlier, which we are happy to accommodate and can do so quickly since there is always someone on site.4. We only recall you asking for 'basics' one time - to which we provided everything you requested.Again, this is a motel, not a hotel, so 'amenities' are a perk. and from our market research are not always a given.Again, we greatly appreciate the comments and will aim (as always) to improve with these things in mind.

Great Stay
This was a lovely stay. My room was far larger than I expected, clean, newly renovated, well priced. It was literally 7 minutes from Northampton where the rooms were 3 times the price.

Room was clean, check in was easy, owner friendly, bed was comfortable - only complain would be no clothes hangers or closet, and another choice besides Roku TV would have been nice. My mom wanted to watch NBC news and we couldn’t find it.

Room was super clean and was perfect for a place to sleep that was quiet. However, the scent in the room was very overbearing and I don’t think the door locks from the inside, which didn’t feel safe.

Great little place to stay
Check in was nice and easy, the lady running the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself looks like an older hotel that was recently renovated. Nice beds, nice bathroom, a mini fridge and microwave in the room. No complaints, I was pleasantly surprised with everything. 5 stars.

The night booked indexed automatically because the were full, and when I immediately tried to correct the error, this was denied by The hotel by phone and *******. They later called because at had not arrive and clearly doubled booked the room.

To be clear, since you never actually stayed with us, this is an unfair rating and greatly affects us - how can you rate a property you never stepped foot on, or comment on a service you never received. It sounds like this was user error - as you mentioned, the dates were not what you thought you put in.Though you contacted us, it is a very busy and non-refundable weekend. Had you booked this a little earlier and not hours before check in, we would have been able to work with you and found an amicable solution.Also, we did not 'double book' the room -- I called (as others reviewers have highlighted) to see what time you were checking in as it was past 10pm, and so we could put the AC on for you to arrive to a clean and cool space.I hope those who are still reading this understand that this rating has no bearing on our cleanliness, hospitality or anything else of value to do with our property and service.

Most likely the cleanest motel I've ever stayed at. They reached out ahead of time to see when we thought we would arrive so that they could make sure the room was cooled for our arrival. Run by an extremely friendly couple. Very comfortable beds! Would definitely stay there again!
