We stayed one night while attending a family wedding. The hosts were welcoming, the room was spacious and updated, and the breakfast was good. This is a quiet residential area a few minutes from town.

We arrived early after a long journey in cold, heavy rain. Although our reservations was for one person, the hosts warmly welcomed both me and my partner without hesitation. Later, even though breakfast service had ended, they still prepared a delicious breakfast on my request. I’ve been a hotelier for two decades, so I’m aware what genuine hospitality looks & feels like. This guesthouse truly embodies a “home away from home”—warm, personal and thoughtful. The place was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Martina, our host, even treated me to slices of homemade cake as a complimentary treat since I wasn’t going out that evening. They allowed me a late checkout with no fuss and even offered me a lift to a nearby spot just five minutes away, when they realized I was struggling to find taxi! Who does that nowadays. This is what hospitality means: hosts who go above and beyond to ensure guests experience memorable, positive experience from arrival to departure. I read other reviews to see if I could say anything different. However all that has been said before is true, superb hosts, spotless accommodation and a freshly made breakfast.

From the minute my wife Kate and I arrived, Martina and Eamon made us feel like we were old friends returning again. Even though we had never been there before. The room was spotless and the Breakfast on both mornings were amazing. Martina and Eamon are perfect hosts. We Can't wait to visit again some time in the future. So look no further than this guest house for a perfect stay.

Clean guesthouse with friendly owners

My wife and I stayed here for one night as we were going to a wedding at Ballyscullion Park. A couple of weeks prior to our arrival the host told me about local taxis and to book them at that early stage which was right to do. We arrived early to collect the room key as we had to be at the wedding before 2pm and this was no problem at all. Breakfast was lovely too.

Brooke Lodge guest house is immaculate. The shower was fantastic, and the breakfast was fresh and gorgeous. The home made iced cakes left in the bedroom were quite literally the icing on the cake. Perfect! Thank you to Martina and Eamon, see you again soon xx
