Disgusting. 0 stars from me if it was an option. As someone who planned a whole trip to Michigan and depended on the reviews of others and pictures this was highly disappointing. From walking in the floors was disgusting and the condition of the facility was dirty. Immediately went to my room and the bed looked like it laid in with a piece of glass on the bed. I immediately went and returned my cards and asked to speak to the manager. Manager Mike does not call until 3 days later. He refuses to have anything to do with choice hotels and helping me get a refund. Very rude and unhelpful. I do plan to return to the area but i highly suggest staying at the days inn across the way. I am all about a budget but this place was horrible. Do not waste your money on the poor service and condition of this facility.

Clean, basic hotel with recently replaced carpeting and decor. I couldn’t access the wifi. I called the lobby and the evening lady implied that I was typing in the password wrong and I should come to the lobby. What she didn’t say is that the wifi pretty much only works in the lobby. She just stared blankly at me when I told her that we had no access in the room. No apology, no explanation. At least the overnight guy explained the “dead zones” at the hotel. Breakfast is a lunch bag from the lobby desk. One morning, the regular coffee was not working. The same lobby lady just sat there. No sign, no apology, no effort. She told me that the decaf was working. Hmm… something tells me they’re not the same? I realize this is a small town and this lady clearly prefers to avoid conflict. But is making some more coffee still possible? Yes, it is. This is a budget hotel with a comfortable, clean room. Just buy a few wifi extenders and work on your staff’s customer service skills, please.

Hotel with identity issue.. Econolodge or Clarion? Potholes in parking lot. Stains on lobby chairs. Chain and lock on door to bar restaurant area. Key cards didn't work. Ran out of bagged breakfast day one, didn't offer anything day two. Chain on room door, but nothing to connect it to. USB port and plugs built in to desk did not work. Cracked bathtub tiles. Floor around toilet needed better cleaning. Drapes had holes in them. Night stand drawers would not stay closed. Positives: Grocery store right next door. Bed was comfortable and sheets appeared to be clean.
