Front desk staff were busy giggling and chatting most of the time. The lobby and breakfast area smelled of pets. Breakfast was very good and breakfast attendant was nice and very courteous.

Room was clean & comfortable, updated nicely. Quiet. Safe feeling. The pool was a little chilly but the hot tub was perfect. Breakfast was typical continental, but worked well for us.

The bed was comfortable and breakfast was the usual fare. The hotel was quiet and in a safe area, just a short drive into town. Shower pressure could be better but it was to be expected. We would stay again

Overall, I would rate Sleep Inn - Durango with four-stars (good). The hotel is located within a ten-minute driving distance from many of the places we wanted to go to, such as the Durango-Silverton railroad. The hotel and our rooms were clean. There was no daily housekeeping service, but we were able to obtain our towels from the front desk. The continental breakfast was exceptional. We liked the indoor pool and hot tub. The hot tub was the right temperature - the pool was very cold. On a negative note, we got to the hotel a little early and asked if we could check in a little early. A male employee yelled at me: "Check-in time is at three!" with nothing further said. I did not like his demeanor nor the way he treated a customer.
