The facility was very nice and very clean. The surroundings were safe with a couple of eateries in walking distance. The breakfast was a little less than desired but continental breakfast was acceptable.

Disappointed that a charge of $25.00 was put on each of the 2 rooms rrserved. Not sure why this was necessary. Rooms were paid for in advance and processed on my credit card. Was not advised when reservation made that there would be additional charge of $25.00 per room. Also aggravated that at 9:30 pm, on day of checkin, received a call from the front desk stating there was a complaint that running and jumping complaint was received from the room below us in one of the rooms. There was no “running and jumping in the room!!!

Will Stay Here Again

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Vidalia, GA for one night following a football game we were in town for. Check-in was great, the desk clerk was professional and friendly, the hotel was clean, and the breakfast was delicious.

The only negatives were as follows:

1) Only two towels in a room that sleeps 4

2) When taking a shower, water spurted from where the shower head was attached to the wall, over the curtain, and onto the floor.

Each of the negatives were easily dealt with and, overall, our stay was pleasant.

fire alarm

Our first night, the fire alarm went off 11:00 pm. The clerk on duty, told us to ignore the alarm and go back to bed. The fire department was not called and made us uncomfortable about going back to bed. The room was partially comped. The second night was much better.
