It’s a fantastic property, large and very nice rooms, the ones in first floor has private balcony. The lawn is very nice and it has lots of greenery and lovely flowers. Very nice food. Staff are warm and very friendly.

We spent a nice weekend at the Tree of Life resort. The high points of this resort are its peace, ambience, staff and food. The exteriors are well kept and the views amazing. However, there is scope for improvement in the upkeep and maintenance of the room we occupied [A2], which seems to be an older room. Nevertheless, we spent a peaceful time with birds chirping and quite a few dogs and cats around us. Some tips - Jio and Vodafone data services don't work - Wifi provided by the resort is iffy Lots of small creepy crawlies in the rooms after rains Choose the newer double storyed rooms instead of the 2 old ones that are nearer to the reception The private spa service offered by the hotel is excellent

The hotel is located on a hill with a steep climb but makes up for this with a very good view of the hills and jungle . The checkin was smooth and they were ready for us with all the formalities done in a few minutes. The reception area gives a feeling of walking into a home which is done tastefully like a sitting room . The rooms are spacious and done up well . I had a poster bed with a comfortable mattress and on drawing the curtains you could see only greenery . The location of the hotel is such that there is no noise of traffic or normal hustle bustle of the city. The restaurant is also done up well and has a billiards table . The staff had asked us to let them know our order so that when we walk in for dinner the food is ready to be served . I would highly recommend the garhwali chicken and the fried palak vegetable ***** with the ragi roti .The fried okras are also excellent and worth a try . The quantity of food is sufficient and with the money. The major drawbacks of the property are the non availability of any form of transport. I had to book a cab for a 12 km ride which cost me 1200 . Also they do not have any onsite laundry so you have to carry sufficient clothing as outsourced laundry takes 24 hours . The climb to reach the property from the road is pretty stiff so you may walk down easily but not recommended for the elderly and people with health issues Overall it’s a different experience and worth it if you want to spend time in the hills and no moving around

This heritage property is situated in a dense forest setting , very peaceful and quiet . Birdsong in the morning , nice view of Mussoorie hills , ample parking . Very courteous and helpful staff . All mod-cons in a huge well appointed room . Loads of nooks and crannies where you can just melt away in peace . Excellent food , well served . Travel has been my hobby for half a century . For the life of me I don't see how anyone can point out any major flaw or drawback in this property . The flooring is Jaisalmer Golden sandstone . Amazing ! Highly recommended for a rejuvenating stay from Delhi NCR . Think of it , I could easily locate 4 planets in today's night sky from the garden while my friends in Delhi couldn't make out even one !

Property situated among nature of trees, birds and flowers. A homey, quiet and warm getaway in a lovely niche resort away from the bustle busy city. Hostess/Owner and staff was welcoming, attentive, professional and courteous. F&B was adequate for the size of property. Great place for seclusion, quiet and peace. Rooms was good size, airy and feel-at-home furnished. Highly recommended.

Very nice property, well maintained and awesome location. It gives you mix of experience being located in lush green jungles in foothills of Mussoorie yet very close to urban and iconic Rajpur road

Excellent stay, loved the food, great rooms, amazing service!! Highly recommend. Enjoyed every moment of the time spent there. The resort manager, Mr Kishor was brilliant. There was nothing that couldn’t be done. If something was not at the resort, it would be got!! Madan Sharma’s service at the food room was amazing!! The food itself was finger licking good!!

I stayed at Dehradun during the first week of July 2024. It was an excellent stay, that was made possible by its very supportive Manager, Kishore Rawat ji and his staff members. Whether it's to do with the room facilities, the food we had there, the hospitality, service, amenities....on all counts, it's an excellent and Highly recommended property. Their rich variety of buffet breakfast, Garhwal Chicken, Makhni dal are must try. Kishore ji had been an excellent support in accommodating my father stay (which was due to a change in plan) by giving us a room upgrade, for which I am grateful to him. Only let down, if any, is the distance of property from Main city, however, if you want to stay in green lush forests, that anyway would not be possible within city confinements.
