Beautiful and well managed property. We truly enjoyed our time here with the great infinity pool and very nice landscape/view. We highly recommend spending the money and enjoy this property between activities in Abel Tasman park a short drive away.

The host was super nice and helpful. He took so much time to explain us which walks we could do and then organised everything for us. The breakfast has been brought to the room. The view was just great! Very neat place. We can highly recommend this place.

Quite and chill place with stunning views. The hosts are very kind and genuinely concerned with creating the most joyful experience for their guests. A small spa with a hot tub and a sauna is included 😊 After a long day out you can sit back and enjoy a home made platter with cheese, sausage and ham which the hosts will prepare for you or get a massage

We stayed at the Seaview Suite for three nights and had a wonderful time. The estate is beautiful and well kept, the spa facilities are great, the ocean is very close and the room has everything one can need. The manager and his family were very nice and made our stay even greater. He had some good advice about local restaurants, made the reservations and even brought us there. They were there to help and to make out stay as pleasant as possible. We can recommend this lovely place to everybody!

My family and I stayed in the '2 bedroom vineyard suite' for 3 nights. Of the seven places we stayed during our South Island adventure, this was by far our favorite accommodation. We felt so lucky to stay there! The pool was breathtaking and we swam every day :) Although we used this place as our launch pad to Kayak and hike in the Abel Tasman National Park, we also gave ourselves a full day to chill and relax at the vineyard, making the most of this gorgeous place and it's the stunning setting. We would highly recommend this place and hope to return some day. Thank you to the General Manager, Mathias, for being so helpful and hospitable.

Rob and his wife, Lena, run Windhover Suites with a relaxed, welcoming attitude and a wonderful attention to detail. This is the perfect place for the traveler who prefers to be away from town but within a short drive of great restaurants and multiple land and water activities. The rooms are generously sized and sit perched on a hillside; in one direction there is an infinity pool overlooking a lovely pond and in the other you see olive trees and a vineyard, with a long ocean view in the distance. If you choose the breakfast option, Rob will stock your mini-kitchen with substantial goodies the night before so you can eat as early or late as you prefer! Rob also makes an amazing charcuterie platter if you prefer to stay around in the evening. My husband and I both had a massage with Lena in their small building right above the beach. Don’t miss this! Lena is a very highly skilled and intuitive therapist, and we both felt restored after several weeks of travel. We loved our stay and were so glad we had booked 3 nights.
