Location is good, a quiet area, very close to the "Lion Park" and some restaraunt attractions. Atmosphere at the bar was great, service there good and friendly staff. The rooms were average, they did feel a bit on the run down side and there was a lamp with a globe missing (quickly fixed). It was quite clean and the bed was huge. Some bad points was the poor wifi in the rooms, Cell Phone signal in the area was so-so so relying on wifi for comms would have been a plus. The TV in teh rooms could barely pick up a channel, and would advise that they should do better there, but we could watch football at the bar. The wifi did work at the bar very well. Breakfast was good though, nice selection, lots of variety. Overall about 3.5/5

A lovely little getaway, not too far from Jhb. We enjoyed the scenery and the quiet of the bush area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable the food was really good. Highly recommend for anyone visiting close to Hartbeespoort Dam. We booked on the Summer special and it was very much worth the price.
