The room was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. Really nice breakfast choices and the food was great.

They don’t take the no smoking seriously
We didn’t even stay for our entire booking due to the room smelling like a group of people smoked 10 packs of cigarettes

Room was "okay " worth $120 a night? No! No towels in the pool , had to use our room towels. Breakfast was "EH". Nice stay, just a little pricey!!!

The “pull out sofa” was not really a pull out sofa. It was just a chaise lounge chair, just barely long enough for our 11 year old.

Dirty bathroom. Urine all over toilet. Not clean
The toilet had urine all over the back of it under the seat and behind it. It was still wet. So gross! We went to a wedding after we checked in and called them to take care of it. That didn’t happen, they just left it dirty. Very sad!

No Sleep
We literally only need the room to sleep in but all night we listened to dripping water from the A/C unit above us hitting the window outside. It was so loud we slept with the tv on and volume a little up. Also, not very sound proof. The room above us must of had small children because you could hear them jumping and running around. So for the purpose we needed the room for it was horrible and didn’t get any sleep.

The room was really humid. Had to keep the room really cold to keep the humidity down to the point it was uncomfortable. Our clothes even felt damp.
The smell of cleaning products was way too strong. I have asthma so it kept waking me up throughout the night.

It was alright. Walls are paper thin so you can here everything. Doors slamming all night. Party going on past midnight, called desk and they were receptive to talking with the loud guests which was appreciated.
Seems like they did some work fixing the place up but guests staying there seem a little shady. Probably will choose another hotel next time.

Lobby and pool area was dated. Called ahead for an early check in and was charged but it was not ready when I arrived an hour later Room was clean and updated

This was a newer very clean hotel. My stay there was very short, though so I can’t comment on the breakfast or other amenities. What I can say, however, is that this hotel’s relationship with ******* is poor.
I paid for the room in advance on the ******* website. It is what is most convenient for providing receipts to my employer. When I got to the hotel, the clerk told me I had to use a DIFFERENT credit card from the one I had used to book the room, or the hotel couldn’t process it, and I couldn’t stay. The clerk tried a couple of different things, but couldn’t get their system to accept my card. I have no other card. She was very kind, and was doing what was in her control. I asked if she could call someone, she said I could call the AmericInn office. I asked for the number. She did not have it. She said I could call *******, and have them cancel the room and reimburse me for the stay, and then I could rebook directly with the hotel. She said it had worked with a guest the day before. I asked what she would charge me for the new rate? She didn’t answer, but said, she may have figured a way to make my card work. And…wallah. My card went through. I can’t tell if it was a scam by AmericInn to exclude *******, or just a problem they need to fix. It was ridiculous, however, it took 45 minutes, and I won’t be staying at another AmericInn.

To charge advance pay reservation we have do tax exempt because ******* is liable to pay taxes since they collected that payment. They used to have message for us and rate plane telling us that this is ******* advance pay reservation and in message they mentioned charge ******* for room not tax but they change the rate plan as well as stopped giving message in guest reservation so new employees forget to exempt the tax and card declines. We are working on the process so this kind error will not happen. Once again we are very sorry for inconvenient.
