酒店回复: Good morning, thank you for your brilliant review and presumably you have watched a certain tv program as a) we have our own car park on site and do not need to have any of our guests use other facilities car parks!! b) we have no dody paintwork, carpets are regularly cleaned and door handles are checked and replaced where necessary. c) we have no baths on site as all of our rooms have their own en suite shower rooms and we don't have any shared bathrooms!! whilst on the subject of shared bathroom comments, if you had asked Jean about the dirty toilet marks we would have addressed the issues immediately and cannot imagine the 'multiple times' you would have brought this to the attention of Jean to deny it!! Glad you apparently enjoyed the world class breakfast provided by Dec as his standards are exceptionally high. And finally, We would love to know when in December 2023 you had actually stayed for your anniversary as w always provide little treats for special occasions but we were not open during most of December. Thanks again for your comments which have been duly noted.

We recently stayed for 6 nights at Hegarty's Cottage and had a lovely holiday. We arrived very late at night and the owners, Declan and Jean, had kindly left on the lamps so that it looked welcoming. There was a lovely home made loaf and scones along with a welcome pack of butter, milk, clotted cream and home made jams. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits were a nice touch too. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had a lovely modern kitchen and dining area, two good sized bedrooms and a large walk in shower. The bed was so comfortable and linen fresh and clean with lots of towels provided too. The garden is private and enclosed and has a wonderful hot tub! We went in every evening and it was fabulous! The cottage is situated perfectly to explore the many nearby beaches at Mawgan Port, Watergate and Newquay and is short walk to the SW Coastal Path. Fantastic breakfast, comfortable beds lovely room. What's not to like. Lodge is in a peaceful area and the owners are so friendly. They advertise upfront that dogs are welcome so dont be surprised if you are treated by two lovely furry residents. We will definitely be back next year.

Very friendly and helpful welcome. Comfortable communal lounge with microwave, refrigerated snacks (payable - honesty box), communal fridge, fresh milk, plates, serviettes, cutlery. Small folding tables provided in room which made eating so much more comfortable than perching on the end of the bed! Good quality and generous tea/coffee/hot chocolate etc. Good quality toiletries. Clean, airy, bright. Comfortable beds (we had a twin room). Owners willing to give us a full breakfast early in the morning so that we could catch an early morning flight. Easy parking right outside. Only 10 minutes from the airport. Thank you Declan and Jean for a very good stay.

We do like to provide our guests with the option of being able to chill out in our well equipped guest lounge with snacks available 24/7 to compliment the selection of refreshments in our rooms which, as you found, all have small folding tables if guests prefer to have snacks or takeaway meals in their rooms. We like to ensure, even if an earlier start is required, that none of our guests leave on an empty stomach and happy to provide a self service early morning breakfast in the guest lounge too. With parking outside the door and being only 10 mins from the airport, we are ideally situated for a short stay to catch flights to and from Newquay airport. We do hope you may return to stay again. I had a wonderful stay in the Trevarrian Lodge B&B. The owners Jean and Declan were very welcoming, friendly and hospitable. As soon as I arrived I felt at ease in their welcoming atmosphere which was homely and warm. Both their dogs Dexter and Roxy equally welcomed me into their home. Within the B&B they have an information table set up with all types of trips, visits and maps available to take and look at. Along with a fresh water tank to fill up bottles. They also offer tea, coffee, water and treats with the providing of an honesty box should you take an item to pay for via the box. I think this is a wonderful idea. The room was perfect and the bed was super comfy. There were a few storms whilst I stayed but I could hardly hear them during the night so I had a great nights sleep all nights. They have a 9 piece pork based breakfast alternatives were also an option and you could select the whole full English or a variety of options which was cooked by Declan. They also had selection of pastries such as croissants, yogurt, cereal, fruit and homemade jams available. All the jams were extremely tasty especially the kiwi jam - certainly worth a taste! It was yummy! I enjoyed my conversations with Jean and Dec and I will certainly return to their cute b&b. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Tara (from London)
