A small, nice, clean and good feel property which just 2 hours drive away from Jaipur. Very comfortable to drive on weekends. Staff was very caring and courteous. Also liked the food. There are lot stepwells in the area around and the hotel also offers a jeep/ camel safari to one of them.

Ah It was awesome. Meeting with His Royal Highness, having royal high tea and dinner and then best of the room leisure, was one of the most treasured experiences once can have. Quiet offbeat and convenient one.

I returned to Castle Khandela after a few years gap. It still offers the same cosy atmosphere around a square central green space but some areas need a revamp: garden chairs cushions old and bit dirty, same old hard mattresses on beds which were supposed to be changed, bathroom miroir so high I couldn't see the top of my head ...and please replace the tiny shampoo,lotion, shower gel bottles for refillable decent size ones as suggested years ago... They have added a swimming pool which is a bonus. The restaurant is lovely and spacious and offers delicious food. Staff very polite and helpful. A pleasant stay but needs updating.
