What a lovely place with beautiful sea views. Staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is amazing. A great place to enjoy a drink and a platter of food with a view!

Now know as the ‘Edge of the beach ‘ hotel, lovely rooms, great staff at the mother hotel the ‘Beach’ and also the new landlords of the bar/restaurant below the hotel rooms. The en-suite was a tad tiny and the water pressure is a bit low on the top floor, but it wouldn’t stop us staying again. Great sea view room from our accommodation. Great location.

i made a reservation on this hotels website on the 3rd July to stay for 4 nights from the 6th July. I received a confirmation email giving me details of their deck dining restaurant and all relavnt information. I could not book the restaurant online so I tried telephoning the number on the website which just rang out. On the 5th July when I still could not get hold of anyone I resorted to Facebook and searched for the Edgcumbe only to find Tik Tok video staing the restaurant and hotel had been sold to the Beach at Bude, on telephoning the Beach I was informed that they had taken over The Edgcumbe. There is no restaurant as it is being renovated and breakfast will be at The Beach hotel. The lady I spoke to was going to ring me this afternoon to inform me. She did say there are complimentary drinks in the aftrenoon. I will update review after our stay

Popped down for a couple of days in Bude as weather good. First time stayed at hotel , v impressed by location , quality of furnishings, decor and friendliness of staff . Breakfast was amazing and should not be missed We had a room that did not have a sea view and next time would specifically request room with a view

Amazing hotel. The owners and staff are so friendly and couldn’t do enough. Hotel is in a fabulous location overlooking the beach. The rooms were modern and comfy. We had a big bathroom with a walk-in shower and jacuzzi bath. The breakfasts were delicious and huge. We ate at the hotel one evening and the food didn’t disappoint. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to stay there again.

The host is just the best. Lovliest lady. All the team are amazing. The room was beautiful, bed so comfy. The views are outstanding. We werent lucky enough to eat there for dinner as they were fully booked. But the meals that we saw look huge. With Chips to die for. Our breakfast was perfect. I am already looking to book again. Thank you so much for a wonderful Stay - from the Smiths

Jo and her family were so friendly and helpful, and made our stay just the perfect, relaxing break that we needed. The restaurant serves the most delicious food. Parking is limited on site, but there's a large public car park just a five minute walk away. The shops are also a five minute walk. We can't wait to go back.

I come to Bude quite a bit as love it there and till now for some reason I hadn’t stayed here but after staying last night I wouldn’t stay anywhere else now. From the minute we arrived we were greeted with a very warm welcome and it just carried on from there. We stayed in room 3 with a beautiful sea view and the rooms are decorated really nicely and super cosy. Bathroom was gorgeous and really lovely toiletries for use. It’s right near the sea pool and town centre too so perfect for discovering what Bude has to offer. Breakfast was absolutely out of this world and so was the coffee. Jo, Emma and all the team were just superbly friendly and made us feel so at home we didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back.
