Absolutely Unacceptable - A Nightmare Stay
My recent 3-day stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham Rahway/Newark was an absolute disaster, especially traveling with my two young children and wife. This hotel is far from "family friendly" and needs a serious overhaul in management and basic cleanliness.
I specifically reserved a non-smoking room, only to be hit with an overwhelming, stale tobacco smell upon entering. When I complained to management, they "graciously" moved us... to an even worse room! The second room reeked even more and, shockingly, had cigar butts scattered on the floor. This is completely unacceptable and a major health concern, especially with kids.
The problems didn't stop there. Every single day of our stay, the parking lot reeked of *********. This created an incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere that no family should have to experience. To top it all off, despite being a family of four, housekeeping consistently only left two towels. We had to call and request more every single day.
This hotel is a massive disappointment. The lack of attention to basic cleanliness, blatant disregard for non-smoking policies, and overall sketchy environment made for a truly miserable experience. They need to make significant improvements before they can even think about calling themselves a suitable option for families. Avoid if you value a clean, safe, and pleasant stay.

Advertising said breakfast included, no .breakfast available, no in room coffee. The wood floor in the room was very uneven and cone apart, safety hazard. DO NOT STAY HERE. When we were checking in another customer almost came to blows with the guy at the front desk, apparently his wife sat in a chair in their room and the chair broke and no, she was not over weight
