quick check-in, clean up to date room. Pets allowed and rooms conveniently put on first floor. Amazingly quiet considering the area. Convenient to restaurants, Wal-mart. Breakfast was beyond "continental". Pretty much had anything you would want. Not sure why we didn't get a welcome bag for Wyndam Rewards members though.

Parking area was well lit, nice neighborhood. The room was clean and fresh and breakfast was nice and hot.

Such a great place to stay. Very accommodating & friendly staff. Good restaurants with in walking distance.

I intentionally stop in Effingham just to go to Firefly Grill! But when it comes to places to stay, this La Quinta is a great value - attractive, well maintained, and has quiet rooms. My only critique is that you'd expect breakfast to be a little nicer commensurate with the quality vibe you get here.

Room was good. Bed was a bit soft. Bathroom was very clean. Light switch had a light on it that prevented darkness/ along with light from under the hallway door(but of course a towel help that a bit)

All was great! Did not have breakfast this time because there is a Cracker Barrel right next door:)

We had stayed at this hotel over a year ago when in the state. Was very pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel then. Coming back to the area we decided to stay here again. Was not disappointed. Very very nice, our room was perfect! Was not happy pets were allowed however you would not know it! The cleaning staff are outstanding!!

Quick stop
Quick stop on our way to Oklahoma. The gentleman who checked us in was super friendly and made us feel welcomed. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable.
