Set in a beautiful location surrounded by bush, and close to the beach too. A serene relaxing environment.

Sadly a terrible experience at Cape Howe cottages. The place itself is an average setup but the rooms are freezing and they will not provide heaters. We were also left with a bitter taste when they charged us $100 for leaving a couple of cups in the sink and bedding in the lounge, where our baby had to end up sleeping because the rooms were ice cold. Not considerate, poor service, would not recommend.

We loved the location of 'The Snug' near Lowlands Beach and the Bibbulmun Track but we needed WIFI and it only worked for less than 1.5 hours over a 2 day stay. This inconvenienced a lot as we had booked on the basis that WIFI would be available. We've said that we'd like compensation but no refund has been sent yet. The tumble dryer door didn't close properly and the cleaner hadn't removed many spiders or cobwebs in the kitchen.

The best place to relax and experience the stunning forested beauty of Denmark is [specific location]. This amazing destination combines everything you could ever dream of having in a house or hotel, all in one place. Whether it’s the tranquility of nature, modern amenities, or breathtaking views, it’s the perfect spot for an unforgettable retreat.
We stayed 2 nights here and enjoyed of being in this place.

Cozy, comfortable, and relaxing cottage nestled in the trees with privacy. We came here for our anniversary and loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! Great location, ammenities, and a comfy bed for a good nights sleep. Will be recommending to couples as a romantic getaway. 😊

We love Lowlands Beach - lovely and quiet beach with beautiful surf and rock-pools. The Snug is cosy but really comfy. We stayed 4 nights as it was close to beach and a little bit out of town. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck having a BBQ dinner & drinks. Kids loved the Snug.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay and the cabin lived up to expectations based on other reviews and photos etc. Cake and Ale cottage is in a secluded location with good amenities including a full kitchen with dishwasher, bathroom with small bath and separate shower, two bedrooms (king sized bed/s) and a great open plan space with log burning fireplace. The overall cottage is a very comfortable space to stay and the balcony perfect for relaxing during the day or looking at the stars on a clear night. We ordered the ‘little bit of luxury’ package as an add on and whilst not sure we got everything listed on the website we did get fluffy show white robes, some toiletries and a breakfast basket that included milk, fresh hot bread, eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomato, jams and butter, aldi yogurt, baked beans plus ground coffee and leaf tea. It was lovely although a more local touch (local jam or fruit) would be a bonus. The cottage was well maintained and very clean. There are little reminders of additional costs (extra firewood & wifi) but to date we haven’t been charged for the second bag of wood which I hope is the norm as for a 3 night stay I believe that the two bags should be minimum provided. All up, good value, lovely location and a very enjoyable stay - I would recommend and also look forward to trying the other cottages.

We stayed in Cakes and Ale and found it very comfortable and clean with everything we needed. It had obviously been furnished tastefully and to a very high standard when new and had been well maintained. We shopped in Albany for our three night stay before arriving and were pleased we had as the cottage is rather remote.

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing 3 night stay at the Kings Den and would have liked to stay longer! The accomodation is set in a beautiful nature reserve and is very private and clean. It was wonderful to stay in such a unique and well constructed wooden holiday home and look out through the many windows to the surrounding bushland. We enjoyed the different areas of the King's Den; the lounge/kitchen area, spa and spacious bedroom/bathroom. The breakfast pack was delicious and fresh with more than enough food for 2 people. A few minor challenges we had was firstly the cold, as it it takes quite a while for the warmth to travel to the bedroom from the aircon and woodfire heater in the living area. Also, restaurant options in Denmark are quite limited, so we needed to travel 30mins to Albany to eat a couple of nights. Next time we will bring more food with us! The outdoor shower was good when it worked the first day, then the second day, the hot water was not coming out. We highly recommend this accomodation for a relaxing break.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Saltbox with 3 children. Everything felt spacious, relaxing, and very comfortable. Highlights included the quiet location, beautiful bushland surrounding the cottage, comfortable beds, indulgent spa bath, fully equipped kitchen and laundry and cosy wood fire for the cold nights. Highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing sojourn.
