Looks grand from the outside relative to other Galapagos hotels but the free wifi was still too slow to connect to. Inside the rooms were similar to other accommodation, with twin beds separated by a bedside table. These were not made when we arrived and cleaning products had also been left in the room. There was an expansive view of the bay from the roof top although marred by power lines. It was a good location close to shops and restaurants and the pier. Breakfast was the usual selection of fruit, scrambled eggs, juice, granola and yoghurt. Tea and drinking water was available in the lobby next to a small pool. No lifts. Room 33 had a noisy water pump right above it and made a churning noise for 15 seconds every ten minutes or so. The front desk didn't understand my English and unfortunately we don't know Spanish so we used our tour guide as a translator and asked to move rooms. They said they had a problem with the pump and would get it fixed that day but it was the same that night and kept us awake late and woke us early.

The location is very good - close to the port and restaurants and shops and bars. The hotel does feel a bit like a hostel. We didn’t use the pool but could see it was missing a lot of tiles. Breakfast very basic. The rooms at least felt that they had been recently painted. The absolute worst thing about our stay here was the atrocious shower - the worst shower we’ve ever had. Water pressure was awful and because of the calcification of the shower head water was just going everywhere - with just as much in your face than anywhere else!

Our travel group stayed here for 2 nights before going to Isabella then again 1 more night before going back to Quito. This place has an awesome location close to the pier and restaurants. The first two nights stayed in room 36. The keys they give you come with a big woiden edged key chain its big. Room 36 its right out of the lobby desk then left after the lobby upstairs 3 flights go outside and you face the ocean and police station below. The room is very small with two small single beds. The Air-conditioned worked great once running but when we walked it was super hot. The room was clean and bathroom very small took a while to get hot water in shower but had a nice hot shower but it did take over 5 minutes to get hot water in this room. Also soap bars and shampoo packets provided in rooms no hair dryer. This area also had a nice patio area facing the ocean. We sat there for a bit once sun went down bugs everywhere. Wifi not very good and only located in the lobby so be prepared to be pretty much unplugged. Pool in the middle of the lobby strange place saw it used by one child all 3 days. The staff super friendly. We bought beer and water from the lobby $3 for small beer $5 for big bottle beer and $1 for bottle of water. breakfast was good. First day had watermelon/banana fruit cup, eggs over easy with potatoes, cheese, hot dog, and toast. 2nd breakfast was same fruit, French toast, scrambled eggs, chesse, and the 3rd day we came back same fruit, an egg quiche, hot dog, cheese and toast. The room we had on Friday night was room 5 this is left of lobby upstairs by the pool. Door faces pool area and has balcony facing the main street. The door to outside balcony has openings so we had a ton of moths in our room. The room is huge. 3 beds: 2 full and a twin bed. Big clean bathroom but we could not get hot water in this room so had a cold shower. Friday night was very loud and busy the coffee shop had night life so its very loud we were so tired didn't bother us much. Some people out of our group left there stuff here while we went to Isabella for 2 days and everything was returned. There was a guy that sold souvenirs every night in the lobby wish we brought more cash. Definitely bring more money then you think. Would i stay here again absolutely the location and cleanness.
