Excellent maintained property. Very close to MG road. Rooms are big and spacious. I had 2 nights comfortable stay. Food is great and room service is excellent. Small terrace with nice view of city. Breakfast is super tasty with lots of varieties. I would definitely stay here again and again. Recommended for families.

We stayed here for 4 days during our visit to Gangtok, and overall it was a comfortable experience with a few notable pros and cons. Rooms & Stay: We had booked a family room, which was quite big, spacious, and clean. The room size is definitely a plus, especially for families. The balcony offered a wonderful view, making mornings and evenings very pleasant. However, despite the good room quality, the hotel is very close-fisted when it comes to providing amenities. Geyser is not that stong abd takes a long time to heating up water. Basic amenities had to be requested, which felt unnecessary for a hotel in this category. Food: The food quality was good, with a decent variety available. The buffet spread was satisfying and well maintained. Both taste and options were enjoyable. Service: Room service was extremely slow and needs serious improvement. This was one of the major drawbacks during our stay. On the positive side, staff behaviour was very good overall. The reception team was helpful, polite, and efficient. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth and hassle-free. Facilities: Laundry service is available, which is convenient for longer stays. Parking facilities are also available, which is a plus considering Gangtok’s narrow roads. Location: The hotel is located close to MG Marg, which is a big advantage. It has its own direct entry point to MG Marg; however, there are a lot of stairs, which may be difficult for elderly guests or families with small children. The front road leading to the hotel is very steep, so accessibility can be slightly challenging. Overall: Summit Ttakshang Residency Hotel & Spa offers spacious rooms, good food, polite staff, and a great location near MG Marg. However, slow room service and limited willingness to provide amenities reduce the overall experience. With some improvements in service efficiency and guest comfort, this hotel can offer a much better stay experience.
